2. Hunger is unjust
Hunger, or undernutrition, results from the insufficient intake of macro-
and micro-nutrients. It can lead to chronic malnutrition or the severe
wasting associated with acute malnutrition.
With enough food produced each year to feed world population twice
over, it’s unjust that 1 out of every 8 people suffer from hunger.
4. Hunger especially afects children
Acute malnutrition is the more
immediate killer: it afflicts an estimated
55 million children worldwide.
Each year more than 2.5
million children lose their
lives due to something
completely predictable and
preventable.

11. Cooperante 2.0 outdated but with potential.
Things that need to improve in order to bring
Cooperante 2.0 to the next level:
• Engagement
• Incentive
• Proximity
• Keeping track of participation
• Better integration with social networks
We think the best way to relaunch this platform
is though a mobile app.
12. Phase, the minimumthe app needs to operate
Phase 1:
Front-end interface with ability to:
•Receive, read, and share news (with social media
integration)
•An about us and a contact section
•Possibility to make donations through paypal.
Back-end interface for Action Against Hunger with:
•Ability to update content.
•Ability to send push notifications.
13. If time permits, phase 2.
If time permits Phase 2 would include gamification:
Phase 2 would allow us to motivate people to use the app
and allow everybody to see and measure their results.
Inpired by Foursquare, points and badges don’t really
mean anything, but are still enough motivation to
participate.
Points would be alloted for:
Each piece of content shared.
Each click achieved.
Each donation made or achieved.
Each user would have a personal profile with his points,
badges, rankings.
