DIVERSITY OF THE OFFER In the future town centres may need to evolve and their role might not necessarily be retail led, with a greater consideration on the other uses identified within SPP such as leisure, entertainment, residential, business, cultural and community uses. The focus should be on promoting the individuality of centres in order to provide a unique selling point capable of competing with the often bland nature of many other locations.
