1. Weekly News from WCUMC-9/23/2012
Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world.
"Greater Things Than These"
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have
been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I
am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so
that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for
anything in my name, and I will do it."
Matthew 5:13-16
Too often we fall back on the secular expression, "I'm only human" Yet
Jesus tells us that we can do even greater things that he did. We should
never apologize for being human. It's what God designed us to be and
we should not feel or act "limited" by what the world believes we can or
can't do.
We are often limited by our lack of faith. We are only limited by our
lack of faith.
Jesus did not say, " I will do whatever you ask". He said, "I will do
whatever you ask IN MY NAME".
If we link ourselves to the power that Jesus offers, we can move
mountains!

Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide the resources, and continue
to give, as you are able, to the Designated Fund for "Water System".
