8 2018 WBENC SUMMIT SALUTE SUMMIT SALUTE Event Overview Pre-Summit activities include the Women's Enterprise Forum Meeting, WBENC Board of Directors Meeting, NextGen Meeting, and WEInnovate! The registration desk is open all day; if you registered online, be sure to stop by and pick up your program bag and event materials. Onsite registration is also available. The Pre- Summit Welcome Reception will end the Pre-Summit day and offer an informal evening of networking for the WBENC Board, Forum, and other committee members. IMPORTANT NOTE: WBENC National Committee Meetings have been scheduled for Monday, March 19, 2018. Day One (PRE-SUMMIT DAY) TUESDAY, MARCH 20 Day Two WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21 Day Three THURSDAY, MARCH 22 The Summit officially begins with the Procurement Opportunity Meet Greet in the morning. This session is designed to allow WBENC-Certified WBEs to position their companies, products and/or services to participating National Corporate and Government Members. No appointments are required and all WBENC-Certified WBEs with a full Summit Salute or Summit Only registration may participate. At the Celebratory Luncheon we will celebrate the success of our WBENC network, which includes women entrepreneurs, supplier diversity professionals, and strategic partners. Day two afternoon activities consist of the first round of future forward workshops where attendees will learn from visionaries from corporations around the WBENC network. Be sure to plan your workshop strategy so you can maximize your time and attend as many of these sessions as possible. The day will conclude with the Dallas Kickoff Reception and Silent Auction where we will continue our celebration of our WBENC network. The morning starts off with WBENC’s signature 1:1 MatchMaker meetings. This is an opportunity for WBENC- Certified WBEs to have pre-scheduled appointments with National Corporate and Government Members and their prime suppliers/key business partners to explore 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tier sourcing opportunities and learn how to be considered for these opportunities. WBENC-Certified WBEs who register prior to the January 22, 2018 Early Bird deadline are eligible for participation. NOTE: 1:1 MatchMaker appointments are extended by the participating National Corporate/Government Members based on their current interest and supply chain needs. WBENC cannot guarantee that all eligible WBEs will be extended a 1:1 meeting. After the 1:1 MatchMaker meetings, a second round of future forward workshops will be held. There will be many industries and topics to choose from. These engaging sessions will be followed by a Keynote Luncheon, a program that is sure to inform and inspire. After lunch the final round of future forward workshops will be held and the Summit will conclude. The evening festivities will include receptions to get everyone in the celebratory spirit before heading to the Salute! Dinner, where we will culminate our time together by honoring our 14 Women's Business Enterprise Stars, America’s Top Corporations and other special individuals. When the dinner program concludes, it is time to look forward to Detroit in June at the Post Salute Party! WBENC’s Summit engages participants in a two day program filled with a focus on the future of various industries, business networking, and development opportunities. The Salute follows the Summit and is a festive evening that highlights our 2017 America’s Top Corporations for Women Business Enterprises and our Women's Business Enterprise Stars. The Summit occurs on March 20-22, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. The Salute! Dinner will take place on the evening of March 22, 2018.

Our Media Partners provide print and Internet promotion (calendar listings), advertising and coverage. Those publications include: MBE Magazine, Enterprising Women magazine, WE USA, Diversity Inc. and many others. These partners promote the conference through their readership by featuring a full-page ad to maximize exposure and drive traffic to the WBENC Summit Salute website. WBENC expects to attract an even greater number of Media Partners in 2018, adding to the nearly 500,000 circulation figure for the combined Media Partners. REMINDERS: WBENC-Certified WBEs who purchase a Summit Only or a Full Summit Salute registration; WBENC-Certified WBE sponsors; and WBENC-Certified WBE Sponsor guests must be registered by January 22, 2018 to participate in the Procurement Opportunity Connection 1:1 MatchMaker meetings.
