   The User Interface (also known as Human Computer
    Interface (HCI)) is the aggregate of means by which people
    interact with the system – a particular machine, device,
    computer program or other complex tool. The user
    interface provides means of
   Input – Allowing users to manipulate a system
   Output – Allowing the system to indicate the effects of the
    users manipulation
   Visual Design is designed to enable students to
    gain an increasing accomplishment and
    independence in their representation of ideas in
    different fields of design and to understand and
    value how graphic, wearable, product, and
    interior/exterior design invite different
    interpretations and explanations
   Internet users make up their minds about the quality of
    a website in the blink of an eye, a study shows.
    Researchers found that the brain makes decisions in
    just a 20th of a second of viewing a webpage.
 Space   - Space is the area
 around, within, or between images or
 elements
 A pathdescribed by a moving point or, in
 Euclidean geometry, as the shortest distance
 between two points
   The general outline of an object; it also can be defined
    as a closed path or space.
   The term used to describe the range of lightness or
    darkness in a visual element.
   The tactile quality of a surface or the representation of
    such a surface quality
   There are varieties – additive, which describes
    behavior of glowing objects, such as a computer
    monitor, and subtractive, which describes the behavior
    of reflective objects, such as paint.
   A term that refers, specifically, to a shape represented
    within a visual or pictorial plane.
   The equal or unequal distribution of visual weight and
    visual attention in a layout. Lack of balance in a screen
    layout creates a more dynamic (active) layout.
   The focal point or strongest area of interest within a
    layout.
   The visual rhythm, direction, or flow of the viewer’s
    attention.
   The difference in properties among elements in a
    layout. The greater the contrast, the stronger the
    visibility. The objective of contrast is to establish a
    focal point or point of emphasis.
   As the name implies, it is the repeating of elements or
    properties of elements within the pictorial plane.
   Harmony or visual agreement between elements in a
    layout. The similar characteristics are apparent to the
    eye and will cause groups to be formed in the
    information.
   The Elements of design play an important role in the
    creation and success of a piece of art, whether it's for
    outdoor, indoor, digital or print medium

   The effective use of these organizing principles will aid
    in creating a visual hierarchy that reinforces the
    information organization and thus facilitate viewer
    comprehension.
