Welcome to the Apttus product demonstration and thank you for your time In the next few minutes you will be seeing how you can configure, price and quote a product or service, natively inside salesforce.com without ever leaving salesforce. We will walk through what a native application is and demonstrate Apttus’ native configure price and quoting tool. Lets see what a native application means
The applications are offered in modules that pick up from a salesforce opportunity and enable the entire process to stay inside salesforce.com
We begin with a quote. Once the customer asks for a quote, a sales person typically has to provide the product or service, its options and the pricing in the quote. This can entail a simple selection of the offering from a product catalogue or price book, or a highly complex product and pricing configuration of a bundle of products and services. Apttus enables product selection, configuration, pricing and approvals, again all natively inside salesforce.com.
Next, you can take the output of the quote or configuration and automatically create a quality customer-facing document from standard templates. The proposal can be a simple form document or a highly complex conditionally assembled document depending on the sales persons need. Data can be pulled from anywhere inside salesforce and it only takes minutes to set the documents up.
Once the proposal has been accepted by the customer, a contract can easily be generated from the data already inside your salesforce instance. Even better, the entire contract approval process stays inside salesforce, so even as the negotiators redline the documents, relevant data is synchronized with salesforce. This is done through Apttus’ unique Word-to-Salesforce Enhancer technology. A user can perform the entire contracting function in a word document with the changes being captured and therefore managed inside salesforce.
And finally, ensuring that after all the sales efforts, the right outcomes are actually realized by your organization.
