Abstract VS Concrete
● "Don't cry over spilt milk"
● Abstract thinking is a level of thinking about things that is removed
  from the facts of the “here and now”, and from specific examples of
  the things or concepts being thought about.
● Concrete ideas are those that have relevance to action (Like a
  recipe, how-to manual, etc...)
● Math for abstract thinker is a way to manipulate numbers.
  Concrete thinker perceives it as collection of formulas
Abstract VS Concrete
● It helps to problem solve in more creative ways, and has a
  tendency to allow people to think “outside of the box.”
● Most problem-solving techniques require students to step back
  (figuratively) from the problem at hand (it could be at foot) and state
  the problem in abstract terms.
● Taking concepts from some domains and applying them on other
  domains.
