Alessandro Timmi obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, with the final grade 110/110 cum laude. He presented an original research thesis with the title Implementation and development of a methodology based on photogrammetric analysis for the evaluation of the sport motion in Karate, developed with the supervision and collaboration of his mentor and Professor of Applied Mechanics, Ettore Pennestrì. This thesis became the core of the ongoing Virtual Sensei project.
