2. 1 CORINTHIANS 19:23-26
For I received from the Lord what I also
passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the
night He was betrayed, took bread,
and when He had given thanks, He broke it,
and said, “This is My body, which is for you;
do this in remembrance of Me.”
In the same way, after supper He took the cup,
saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood;
do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
For whenever you eat this bread, and drink this cup,
you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

12. LUKE 23:50-51a
Now there was a man named Joseph,
a member of the Council, a good and
upright man, who had not consented
to (the Council’s) decision, and action.
13. MARK 15:42-46
It was Preparation Day (that is, the day
before the Sabbath). So as evening approached,
Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of
the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom
of God, went boldly to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body.
Pilate was surprised to hear that He was already dead.
Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had
already died. When he learned from the centurion
that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph.
So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down
the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in
a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone
against the entrance of the tomb.
14. JOHN 19:42-40
Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for
the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple
of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the
Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came
and took the body away. He was accompanied
by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited
Jesus at night…brought a mixture of myrrh, and aloes,
about seventy five pounds. Taking Jesus’ body, the two
of them wrapped it, with the the spices, in strips of linen.
This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.

AREN’T ready to let go of?
Is there any sacrifice
He ISN’T worthy of?
What sins are we
STRUGGLING to cast off?
