How to make it happen? – this is domain of SKILLS,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object]

There are two possible flows of the activities, and both keep taking place.,[object Object],From outside ( the body) to inside (in ’I’): ,[object Object],‘I’ receives sensations from the body and this is tasted in ‘I’,[object Object],Based on this taste, thought could be triggered,[object Object],Based on these thoughts, desire may be set,[object Object],Ex: we may see a car,[object Object],From inside (in ‘I’) to outside (the body):,[object Object],We now have the desire of a good life via the car in us,[object Object],We start thinking about how to get a car, how we can have money, etc,[object Object],Based on that we make selection,[object Object],Here these activities are operated on the basis Sensation, Preconditioning, or natural acceptance (listening to one’s inner voice) .,[object Object],If they are operating on the basis of sensation, preconditioning, I am dictated by others (PRATANTRA) and if they are operating on the basis of natural acceptance, I am self organized (SWATANTRA) ,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
Understanding the harmony of ‘I’ with the body: Sanyam and Swasthya,[object Object],The human body is a self- organised mechanism and made up of several organs and glands.,[object Object],Sanyam: Sanyam is the feeling of responsibility in ‘I’ towards the body for its nurture, protection and right utilization,[object Object],Swasthya: Swasthya has two elements – the body act according to me, and there is harmony in the body.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object],Human Being	=	Self (‘I’) co-existence Body,[object Object], Information,[object Object],Harmony Consciousness Material,[object Object],Sanyam ( Self-regulation) Swasthya (Health),[object Object]
Program to ensure Sanyam and Swasthya,[object Object],Sanyam: I take the responsibility of nurturing, protection & right utilization of body.,[object Object],Nurturing of the body ( POSAN),[object Object],[object Object]
Digestion (Pachan)
Excretion (Nishkasan)2. Protection of the body ( Sanraksahan),[object Object],[object Object]
Labour (Shram)
Physical Exercise (Vyayam)
Asan ( Pranayam)
Treatment (Upchar) of the bodyRight utilization of the body (Sadupyog),[object Object],Swasthya: 1. The body is fit to act according to the self (I),[object Object], 2. There is harmony among the various parts of the body.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
Understanding the Harmony in the family and society,[object Object],We live in a family. In family we have relationships where we interact with other human beings. ,[object Object],Family is the foundation of society, and provides the basis of continuity of human tradition on the earth.,[object Object],Harmony in the family:,[object Object],Relationship is - between I & I,[object Object],There are feelings in relationship - of one I with other,[object Object],These feelings can be recognized - they are finite,[object Object],Their fulfillment and evaluation leads to Mutual Happiness.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
These feelings ( Emotions, Values) could be as follows:,[object Object],Trust ( Vishwas ) ----> Foundation Value,[object Object],Respect ( Samman ),[object Object],Affection (Sneha ),[object Object],Care ( Mamta ),[object Object],Guidance (Vatsalya ),[object Object],Reverence ( Shraddha ),[object Object],Glory ( Gaurav ),[object Object],Gratitude ( Kritagyata ),[object Object],Love ( Prem ) -------> Complete Value,[object Object],All the feelings are already within you- understanding only makes you aware and once you are aware of it there is continuity of these feelings and you are able to fulfill them,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
Understanding the values in Human- Human relationship:,[object Object],Justice (Nyaya) : Justice is the recognition of values in relationship, their fulfillment, right evaluation and ensuring mutual happiness (Ubhay- Tripti).,[object Object],Thus there are four elements of justice: recognition of values, fulfillment, evaluation and mutual happiness ensured.,[object Object],We want harmony at all levels of livings. Harmony in the family is the building block for harmony in the society. Harmony in the society makes an undivided society, which is the desire of each one of us.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
Understanding the meaning of Vishwas : Differentiating between intention and competence,[object Object],Trust: To be assured that the other human being wants to make me happy & prosperous.,[object Object],Verify the following,[object Object],1a. I want to make myself happy,[object Object],2a. I want to make the other happy,[object Object],3a. The others want to make himself happy/ herself happy,[object Object],4a. The other wants to make me happy,[object Object],What is the answer,[object Object],1a. I am able to make myself happy,[object Object],2a. I am able to make the other always happy,[object Object],3a. The other is able to make himself always happy,[object Object],4a. The other is able to make me always happy.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
The first four questions are related to our natural acceptance i.e. intention and the next four to our competence.,[object Object],“To be assured that the intention of the other is always correct is trust” ,[object Object],We generally evaluate ourselves on the basis of our intention and other on the basis of their competence.,[object Object],If we have trust on intention, we have a feeling of being related to the other & we start helping the other to improve his competence, if he does not have.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
2. Respect: Respect is right evaluation.,[object Object],Need of ‘I’ is that ‘I’ should be evaluated as I am, I should evaluate others as they are. If I don’t do this, it is disrespect.,[object Object],Respect = right evaluation,[object Object],Disrespect:,[object Object],Over evaluation- To evaluate more than what it is,[object Object],Under evaluation- To evaluate less than what it is,[object Object],Otherwise evaluation- To evaluate other than what it is.,[object Object],The other is similar to me and the difference could only be at the level of understanding.,[object Object],11/10/2010,[object Object],Trident ET Group of Institutions - Faculty of Management,[object Object]
