Leonardo is famous for his

da Vinci. For example Zahari Zograf.
He is arguably the most famous Bulgarian
painter of the Bulgarian National Revival,
noted for his church mural paintings and icons
and often regarded as the founder of secular
art in Bulgaria due to the introduction of
everyday life elements in his work.
The other is Vladimir Dimitrov —
Maystora. He is considered one of the most
talented 20th century Bulgarian painters
and probably the most remarkable stylist in
Bulgarian painting. His skills reach those
of Leonardo da Vinci.

frescoes of the rock monastery near the village of Ivanovo, Ruse.
Founder of the monastery was a Bulgarian Tsar John Alexander.
Ivanovo rock churches are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO and is
one of the 9 such sites in Bulgaria. Popular tourist sites. The Boyana
Church is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated on the outskirts
of Sofia. The church owes its world fame mainly to its frescoes from
1259. They form a second layer over the paintings from earlier centuries
and represent one of the most complete and well-preserved monuments of
Eastern European mediaeval art. The church also was established in
Renaissance style.

Beron" - Varna was established in
autumn 1883.

Petko Momchilov in style "modern
renaissance".

Bulgaria.
