2. Idea 1
My first idea for the recipe cards was to create recipes based on just salad recipes
that have different toppings that are appropriate for vegetarians. The reason I
want to create recipe cards based on this theme is so it would allow vegetarians
have more of a variety on salads .For this theme I would use green tones for the
card to represent the fillings in the salad, I may also include brief images to make
the cards more interesting. These cards would be aimed towards the age groups
17 onwards as these kind of recipes won't be as appealing to younger children.

What do you like about the idea?
I like that a range of different salad toppings will be used within the idea, as it adds
dimension to the recipes.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The salad toppings which were going to be used could have been listed, so that it gives
the consumer an idea of the kinds of toppings that are going to be included.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I think it’s interesting that the idea is going to be aimed at a teenage audience, as it
shows that this idea is going to contain recipes that will be easy for a young person to
cook, as opposed to it being complex.
4. Idea 2
My second idea for my recipe cards are to base all my cards on sweet patisseries
that would be suitable for vegetarians. I thought that this would be a good idea
as then vegetarians would be able to make there own patisseries knowing that it
won't have any trace of products that would be deemed unethical in the diet of
the average vegetarian individual who would not consume a product that
contains an animal by-product. For these cards. Iwas planning to use a
colourfulclassic print in the background (CathKidstonlike) and include sketches of
cupcakes to make them fit into the theme. These cards would appeal to all
vegetarian age groups.

What do you like about the idea?
I like the fact that this particular idea contains a specific theme, which will initially
make it more interesting to view and explore for the consumer once the recipe cards
have been completed.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The target of the audience could be defined as women, as the CathKidston type
theme is usually targeted towards a young, female audience.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I like the fact that the cupcake designs will be incorporated into the design, as it will
make the design of the recipe card look more interesting.

My third idea for the recipe cards is to create recipes that are based on tofu
as the meat substitute, these cards would allow vegetarians/ vegans to have
more chooses on tofu recipes, I could include a variety of different meat
recipes but just substituted the meat with tofu. These recipes would be
aimed at all age groups as they would be classed as family meals. For these
recipe cards I would use bright colours with images of the recipes so that
they are more appealing to the audience and by including images so that the
audience would be able to get a better perspective of the recipe.

What do you like about the idea?
I like that tofu will be used, as it is a very popular meat substitute and it is also healthy,
which will appeal to the intended audience.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The range of recipe could be listed, as it does not show what types of recipes are going
to be included.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I think that it is interesting that a bright colour scheme will be used, as it will attract
the eye of the viewer significantly.
8. Idea 4
My fourth idea for my recipe cards is to use the theme of vegetarian
curries, this idea would be suitable for vegetarians as curry dishes
are traditionally prepared with vegetables but for a meat substitute
there would be tofu (if wanted). These recipes would again be
suitable for all age groups as they would be classed as family meals.
For these cards I want to use earthy tones to match the origin of the
recipes, I also would like to include images so that the audience
would be able to get a idea for the recipes.

What do you like about the idea?
I like that earthy tones are going to be used, as it links to the theme of the idea and
therefore makes it appear more intriguing.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The target audience could be defined, as it says that is family-based, but you could
make a primary target market.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I think it is interesting that tofu will be substituted for meat, as usually you associate
curry with meat.
10. Idea 5
My fifth idea is to create recipe cards with the theme of all around the world,
for these recipe cards I want to use each card as a different country and
create a recipe that is from that country. I think that this would be a good
idea as it would allow my audience to discover and learn more about
different cuisines and get an opportunity to learn new recipes. These recipes
would be suitable for all age groups and would work ideally for family meals.
For these cards I would like to create a different theme for each card to
match the country that the card would be based on, I want to include images
of the recipes so that the audience are able to get a better idea of each meal.

What do you like about the idea?
I like that each recipe will be from different parts of the world, as it makes the idea
more appealing to a wide range of people, as opposed to a select group of individuals.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
The target audience could be specifically defined, however, the idea itself is very good.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I think the fact that the recipes will be based around the world is interesting, as it
shows that the final recipes cards will be very interesting indeed.

What do you agree with from your feedback?
I agree with the positive and negative feedback that I have received and can relate to
the points that you are bringing across. I agree that some of them need more thought
into them and maybe include more detail into the ideas themselves.
What do you disagree with from your feedback?
I disagree that the target audience was not defined in some of my ideas, as I targeted
them towards a group of people, instead of an age group.
13. Idea Evaluation
Which idea that you came up with is your favourite and why?
The ‘all around the world’ theme was my favourite as it gave me scope to widen my
ideas and also I would be able to create recipes that would be of a better quality and
would appeal more to my target audience.
Which idea, that your team came up with, is your favourite and why?
The ‘worldwide’ them again as it allows vegetarians to explore different dishes from
around the world and have different options of foods and explore a variety of cuisines.
