- ‘De gezondheidszorg schakelt een versnelling hoger’ (in deze presentatie wordt ingegaan op de industrie, waar zet men op in binnnen E-health en zorg, wat wordt verwacht als toekomstige ontwikkelingen en waar botst men tegenaan bij implementatie en commercialisatie van innovaties) … wat zijn de digitale uitdagingen?

- Maar weet.. Die quantified self dat gaat ook “meegenomen” worden naar de health professional
- Ik kwam met mijn apps naar m’n coach.. Maar hij verstond er geen snars van.. We horen nu al dokters klagen, deju, ze komen daar af met al hun apps.. Hmm, en nu?!
- Hoeveel devices genereren “medische” data? Data rond hartslag e.d.? Mhealth meets eHealth
- Volgende opportuniteit .. Niet rond quantified self, maar wearable technology voor ouderen Het aantal Belgische 65-plussers stijgt tot 3 miljoen in 2040. Ouderen zijn steeds vitaler, leven langer en willen zo lang mogelijk zelfstandig thuis wonen
- Remote care
- Zorg op afstand = data! Data kan veel zijn, sensordata die het activiteitenpatroon kan bepalen, maar ook vitale parameters. En er bestaan al veel toestellen
- Niet enkel capteren, maar ook “helpen, ondersteunen”

- Waar je goed voor moet opletten als je zo’n oplossingen in de markt is aan wie je het gaat verkopen? .. B2B of B2C, dit is een volledige aanpak
- wil de roadmap voor e-gezondheid, die in 2012 opgesteld werd tot 2018 aanpassen.. Want in 2012 werd mHealth niet opgenomen. Een meting van iets medisch bij de patiënt, dat is een medische daad. Als dat dan doorgestuurd wordt naar een arts, en opgeslagen, dan behoort dat tot het medisch dossier. Daar moet een protocol voor komen.'
