2. Scope of project
 Midway/Lenz interim solution
 Upgrade 15 stations to Electronic Interlocking as well as outdoor
equipment
 Construct a new CTC building (GNC)
 Change local control stations to remote control stations
 Connect all new and upgraded stations to the GNC (in phases)
 Implement a telecoms network on existing fibre backbone

 Relocate substation telecontrol monitor to new CTC
 Relocate ICS (for current ICS Stations) to new CTC
 Transmit CCTV images from various stations to new CTC
 Perform small overhead and track works changes
 Upgraded 4 and build 11 new relay rooms at specific sites
