Situation analysis
Ukraine’s 6.25 million of young people in the age of 15–24 are the next generation of
economic and social actors
• Making sure that their skills match changeable labour-market needs is thus very
important.
• The unemployment rate for youth aged 14-35 years was 10.9 % in 2014, which is
considerably higher than for adults (7,5%)
State initiatives
• National Employment centers network
• University career centers
• Electronic terminals in schools
Career guidance platforms and websites for high school graduates are very
popular in Europe and in the world, but do not exist in Ukraine
