• Almost half of Charlotte’s population growth occurred outside I-485

  experienced largest population gain


• Hispanic population in Charlotte more than doubled to almost 96,000


• Charlotte’s Median Household Income increased by 11.5%


• Housing Vacancy Rate increased from 6.5% to 9.4%
