14. Interview Questions Body language: 1. Can you describe the meaning of (body language)? To me, body language refers to the hand movements and gestures we use when communicating with others. It can also be called ‘nonverbal’ communication. 2. Do you think the body language is important for your position? Yes, I have to be very aware of the body language I use when I’m communicating with others. Plus, we’re working in an international environment so we should be aware of what different body languages mean in different cultures. For example, in the Arab culture, it is very rude to turn your back to someone, but someone from another country might not consider this as an offense. 3.Does your body language help you to success in your career? Yes, in the sense that you can use your body language to show authority and confidence.

The way we speak and communicate with others is crucial in Human Resources. 5. Does your verbal help you to success in your career? I think so. The way we speak even during a job interview affects our career. After that, we speak on the phone, during meetings, with clients and with colleagues so our method of verbal communication can lead to success.

Even if there is a problem or someone is upset, I think it is important to remain calm, and soon you will find that the other people calm down as well when they hear your calm voice. 7. How do you apply the use of your verbal language in your career? I try to use the right type of verbal communication for each situation and each person. First, I analyze the environment and the people I’m dealing with, then I decide how I will communicate with them.
