It written in the voice of Scout, a little girl growing up in a rural town during

Nelle Harper Lee grew up in Monroeville, Alabama.
There are parts of To Kill a Mockingbird that are autobiographical.
It is her only book.
Her father was a lawyer, like Scout’s father Atticus in the book.
After the publication of the book, she granted few interviews.
