feature measures from four to

reddish brown, yellowish brown,
or brick-red. The fur is light-grey,
yellowish, or greyish to light

The Proboscis Monkey can only be found on
the island of Borneo and can be found in all
three nations that divide the island: Brunei,
Indonesia, and Malaysia. It is largely
restricted to coastal areas and along rivers.
The monkey lives only in lowland habitats
such as coastal and riparian habitat, many
of which are flooded by big tides. The
monkey can also be found in swamp forests,
stunted swamp forests, rubber forests,
rubber plantations, limestone hill forests,
nipa swamps, nibong swamps, and tall
swamp forests, tropical health forests and
steep cliffs.
