Special event searches on Yahoo provided scores, schedules, photos and videos for events like the World Cup and Olympics from January to December. From March to October, TV and celebrity searches displayed latest clips, news, and other media while movie, music and news searches offered trailers, music and tweets. New features were added throughout the year to Yahoo Sports, News, Image and other category search pages to better explore and filter results. Mobile search apps were also enhanced on iPhone and Android with location services, suggestions and local results.
