enables multisystem resource
sharing and by-the-minute

Safeguarded Copy
with IBM i
Implementation
Overview
With DS8000 SafeGuarded Copy
you can protect your data from
logical corruption and malicious
activity by taking protected,
immutable copies of the data. The
Safeguarded Copy cannot be
accessed or changed unless two
people provide authorization
through a dual control interface.

All installed processors and memory on your servers in a Power Enterprise Pool are activated and made available for immediate use when a pool is started. Your processor and memory usage on each server is then tracked by the minute and aggregated across the pool.
