46. Understanding Suspensions The Transportation Guys DMV mailed on 04-06-98 to the driver that he/she was on driver DMV probation effective 4-6-98 by DMV. DMV mailed a suspension letter on 4/15/99 to the driver The effective date of the driver suspension is 4/19/99. If DMV does not list a thru date on for the suspension it is to be understood the suspension is final until further notification by DMV.
