7. Insurance Third Party : Third party insurance is when if someone else bangs up your car, their car gets fixed and yours stays banged up. It is the cheapest insurance. Full Cover : Full cover insurance is if someone else bangs up your car they pay. If you bang up someone else's car the insurance company fixes your car. It is the most expensive insurance. Third Party Fire and Theft : Third Party Fire and Theft is when if someone else bangs up your car, their car gets fixed and yours stays banged up and if it gets pinched or burned the insurance company will pay.
8. I chose FULL COVER INSURANCE because... Full cover is the cheapest when your car is banged up because your insurance company will pay for most of the damages. It cost $877.00 for one year. I got my insurance with AMI because my family have their insurance their so it was cheaper than other companies.
9. Registration Every car in New Zealand has to be registered before it is allowed on the road. LTNZ (Land Transport New Zealand) is the only place that you can register your car. It costs $183.22 to register your car for one year. I registered my car for one year.
10. Warrant of Fitness Every car in New Zealand has to have a Warrant of Fitness. You cannot get your car registered without one. A new car can get a Warrant of Fitness that lasts for one year. A used car has to get a new Warrant of Fitness every 6 months. You can take your car to a garage, or mechanic or to VTSNZ (Vehicle Testing Station New Zealand) to get a warrant of fitness. I got my Warrant of Fitness from VTSNZ. It cost $84.00. It lasts for 12 months.

13. So Much Change!!! After buying my car and accessories, putting money away for petrol and repairs, and getting my warrant and registration I still had $2867.00 left. I could have spent more money on my car or got even more accessories to make my car look pretty but I didn’t. Why? I know you probably think I am crazy but I have a very good reason for having lots of money left. I have decided that a Toyota Lucida is really cool for now but in about 5 years I want to buy a mazaratti and they cost heaps and heaps and heaps! So now I have already got some money saved towards buying it….. YIPEE!!!
