● An operating system
● Focussed on phones and IVI systems
● Several Linux distributions
● The successor to MeeGo
● Open source
● A platform and SDK
● Under development

3. So what?
● The only devices are developer phones
● Unless you have one, you have to test
on an emulator (Windows or Ubuntu)
● There is a simulator for faster
development
– Which is nothing like a device
● There's no customer base to target
● No ecosystem
● No “app store”
