Honoring veterans
Touchmark gathered for a
full day of celebrations on
Veteran’s Day. Angela Alvarez,
secretary and charter member
of the Idaho Military Historical
Society, spoke about Medal of
Honor recipients who have an
Idaho connection; a color guard
of veterans presented the flag;
and everyone joined in the songs
and recitation of the Pledge of
Allegiance. The Meadow Lake
Village Choir also performed a
selection of patriotic music. The
day continued with an elegant
lunch and evening music.

2. Snapshots show off fall fun
Chad Bolender has been claiming that he has seen and even caught a large bass from the pond on the
Touchmark campus. This fall, he has proof, as someone snapped a photo of his victory. The 16-inch fish
was full of energy; Chad successfully returned “Bob the Bass” to the pond to fight another day.
Crescendo String Quartet set the mood for the annual Fall Art Gala. The theme for this year’s event was
An Evening of Celebrating Art. Guests viewed the artwork, talked with the artists, and enjoyed appetizers
and desserts prepared by Chef Jake. The art will remain on display through Dec. 9.
