Events create autumn fun
With her hands guiding the wool,
resident Caroline Deinema (left
photo) demonstrated how to spin
yarn on her various wheels for
residents and guests during the
Fall Festival. One of the wheels
is a family antique that her
husband’s grandmother owned.
People also started their holiday
shopping as local vendors
provided everything from baked
goods to soaps and jewelry.
Baking: a delicious fall tradition!
Residents delighted their senses
with peeling, baking, and
enjoying apples bars.
TOUCHMARK AT ALL SAINTS
A popular activity at Touchmark
is the Welcome Tea. Residents
gather and meet the newest
members of the Touchmark
family.
With Christmas and the holidays
right around the corner, residents
made handmade ornaments
for the resident Christmas tree.
Later, they gathered to decorate
the festive tree. Each year,
Touchmark decorates more than
31 trees.

2. All ages take part in Halloween festivities
More than 100 young trick-or-treaters visited Touchmark, and residents passed out candy.
The Halloween Spooktacular continued with a
birthday night celebration.
TOUCHMARK AT ALL SAINTS
Later, adorable ghosts and goblins visited from
Sioux Falls Lutheran Preschoolers, sharing
Halloween songs.
