Drainage Basin Hydrological Cycle Smy

Learning Objectives: ,[object Object],[object Object]
A drainage basin is an area of land (catchments area) drained by a river and its tributaries. Drainage basins are separated from each other by ridges of land called watersheds. Any precipitation falling beyond the watershed will eventually drain into the neighbouring basin. The drainage basin hydrological cycle may be defined as a single river basin bounded by its own watershed and the sea.
