CCC Primary Responsibilities
Ensures that all Sailors are given
every opportunity to develop their
careers to the fullest potential.
Acts as a CDP Manager:
Provides proper direction,
development, and training of CDT.
Is responsible to the CO and CMC/COB
for all matters related to CDP and
policies.

An effective program:
Is a result of a coordinated effort of the
entire chain of command.
Uses all the elements in the CCH.
Uses OPNAVINST 1040.11(series) as a
stand-alone document to for all Navy
commands.

Conduct initial and annual reviews of the
CDP program as outlined in the CCH,

Ensure command has an active, trained
CDT. Replace and train new CDT

which should be updated annually.
