2. Boyhood
● Went to Lakeside Elementary School
● Lakeside Elementary was very strict
● Was very bored in school
● Spent most of his time reading books
● First and best friend, was Kent Evans
● Also had a friend named Paul Allen
● Bill and Evan we're very skilled in math
● Bill was VERY ahead in school
● Bill was never interested into any sport

3. College
● Bill went to Harvard University
● Bill went to work without a break
● Worked 36 hours
● Worked for weeks on a program for a
computer baseball game
● Bill was not a social person
● Never went on dates with a girl EVERRRR
● Bill was a loner :(

4. Microsoft
● In 1975, Bill left Harvard to create Microsoft
with his friend, Paul Allen
● They both planned to develop software for a
computer market
● Bill Gate's company became famous for
operating systems and business deals

5. Marriage to Melinda
● Work always came first for Bill
● Melinda joined Microsoft as a business
manager
● Melinda was nine years younger than Bill
● Melinda grew up in Dallas,Texas
● Melinda and Bill dated on and off, and then
they got engaged in 1993

6. The Lakeside Home
● A rich man has to have a big house right??
● It needed a lot of security and a place to
CHILL (ahhhh)
● The house has 45 rooms in seven main
pavilions linked by underground
passageways
● Bill also has a vision of the future, Bill made
sure everything was controlled by computer
technology

7. Distributing the Fortune
● Gate's money is nearly all in Microsoft stock
● $200 million sent to Cambridge University
in England
● Bill realized that computers are not the
answer to everything
● Deeply moved to Africa
