Intro
First, I want to thank you for your business.
At the time of this writing, not very many marketers are using this system anymore
for highly effective email lead generation and list building.
I actually learned the method I am about to teach you not long after I obtained my
first Aweber account when I started building my own email list years ago.
But I took it for granted because I was too busy trying to learn the so called
“proven methods” other marketers were teaching.
At first, I did not realize how powerful this method would be because I was too
afraid at that time to try new concepts and learn from my own mistakes and
failures.
After seeing some real success marketing online, I realized that most of my success
was a byproduct of me thinking outside the box and trying things other people
were afraid to try.
My outside the box mindset is what started my journey into the Google Adwords
Display Network (formerly known as the Content Network).
At the time, everyone doing Pay Per Click Marketing was telling me to stay away
from the Display Network with Adwords because it was a waste of time and
money.
Did I listen?
Of course not!
My belief was that if Google really felt like their Display Network was a worthless
product, they would not put as much time and energy building it out and spending
tons of resources to enhance it.
Because I decided not listen to all the marketing gurus, I ended up becoming a
leading expert on the Google Adwords Display Network and creating a very
successful consulting business in the process.

As things became better, I began comparing notes with my friends only to discover
they were generating more income with less the effort.
That’s when I knew something was definitely wrong!
They had an email list!!!!
And I didn’t!!!!
That is when I decided I would put more focus on building an email list and
generating leads for my business.
I signed up with Aweber and started learning everything I could about how it
worked and how I could use it to generate leads and build an email database of
highly responsive subscribers.
I started using squeeze pages and lead capture pages as part of my marketing mix
and I recommend you do the same at some point if you are not already doing it.
While trying to figure out a new technique to incorporate into my lead capture
pages, I stumbled onto this method by accident.
At the time, I could not find anyone else using this method.
So I ended up making a note of it and stashing it away in my big binder of ideas.
But it was always in the back of my mind and I would visit the idea from time to
time.
Later, I discovered marketers were using this method to generate leads when
autoresponder services were first made available to the public.
I learned that the method I am going to share with you was the most effective
method for generating leads before squeeze pages and lead capture pages became
the norm.
As times changed, people gravitated to using squeeze pages and lead capture pages
and this method got lost in the mix.

would try this method since I could not find anyone using this technique with their
email marketing anymore.
Long story short, this is how I ended up discovering this fast start email lead
generation technique.
But before I get started, I would like to share with you some of the many benefits
this system will give you, compared to the traditional way that you have been
taught email marketing.
Benefits Of This System
The biggest benefit is that since no web pages are needed, you don’t have to hassle
with building a website to start generating leads that drive the revenue for whatever
business you are conducting.
Whether you run an internet-based business or a brick and mortar establishment
offline, this method works great.
Setting up this system is simple and easy and you can literally begin using it in
under 60 minutes.
If for some reason time doesn't allow or your hands are constantly tied, I have also
made setting up this system exceptionally easy to outsource to an employee or a
virtual assistant.
Simply present the guide to them and the step-by-step instructions will allow them
to have you up and running in no time.
You can still use this strategy even if you already have a website, blog, lead
capture pages, etc.
This system will allow you to put your marketing message in places traditional
email marketing will not allow.

This system will also allow you to create marketing campaigns online or offline. (I
will cover this in detail, later on inside this manual).
It will also easily integrate into any current marketing strategies that you already
have working.
With a tad bit of tweaking, you will be on your way to building a bigger email list

You can now quickly and easily market to your prospects over and over again once
you are set up and have people requesting information from you.
You will also be able to upsell, make one-time offers, promote affiliate offers on
autopilot, etc. I will show you more on this later in this guide.
This system goes against what people are used to seeing with email marketing of
today.
I have met some very advanced email marketers that didn’t even know about this,
let alone use it to their advantage.
It plays on the human psyche because most people don’t really realize they are
signing up for your email list.
Compare that to a squeeze page or lead capture page where you are blatantly
asking for personally identifiable information.
With this system, you get a higher percentage of real email addresses because
people have to send you an email to complete their request to receive your
information.
This really helps to weed out people who give you fake emails. You will still get
them, but at a much lower percentage.
I could go on some more, but I think you get the picture by now.
There is a lot more you can do with this system.

Let’s Get Started.
Here is what you will need to make this system work.
Aweber Autoresponder
If you don’t already have an autoresponder, then you will need to head over to
Aweber and sign up.
I use this method exclusively with Aweber even though I know it also works with
other email marketing service providers. So during this report, I will not cover
setup with other service providers because I believe Aweber is the best to use with
this strategy.
Aweber List Name
In the screen shot below, you will see the list name you will create that is necessary
to make this system work for you.
A “Hook” or “Giveaway” to get sign ups
You must create some sort of “hook” to get people to request more information
from you via email.
This is the same concept for content used on your lead capture pages.

We are going to be using this strategy to get people to email YOU rather than visit
a web page.
It is very important that you get this correct because a weak offer will have a
negative impact on how well you can get people to want what you have to offer.
Much like a weak lead capture page, a weak offer will also cause your conversion
rate of people who actually take action to be very low.
A branded email
Before going any further, I want to explain this part of the system thoroughly so
you can understand why having a branded email is so important.
One of the main reasons for a branded email is that you will want to find
something that is easy for people to remember or something directly related to the
market that you are in.
By creating a branded email, you will be able to use it in all your marketing efforts.
I recommend you use a branded email that matches your own domain. You could
also use a Gmail email address with a catchy name that’s easy to remember, but
one that matches your own domain looks much more professional and people are
more likely to take your offer serious. I know this is true because I tested it.
I also recommend you setup this branded email as a separate email address that is
different from your main email address.
The sole purpose of the branded email address is that it will be used to forward
your requests to your Aweber list name email.
Again, you DO NOT!!! want to use your Aweber email address in your marketing
campaigns.
You would be branding Aweber in your marketing efforts and that could confuse
your potential prospects.

Using Aweber in your marketing campaigns could also severely impact your
results in a negative way.
You want to make sure that your marketing campaigns send a clear message
complete with an email that looks like it is from a legit person or business.
The Setup Process
Here are the steps you need to follow before you start your marketing campaigns to
start generating leads:
1. Create a list in Aweber.
The following set of screenshots will guide you through this process.
Aweber also has some great tutorials as well, so I am certain this will be a
breeze even if you have never used them before.

2. Create your confirmation message.
Here is where you can customize what you want the initial message to say so
they can confirm your request to receive whatever you promised.
Once they confirm, your initial autoresponder message you are going to
setup will be delivered and the person will be added to your database.
Also you can redirect your consumers through any link you want upon
confirmation. (affiliate links, your main site, your blog, etc.)

3. Create your first message to be delivered.
Add content and information about your offer in the message that explains
how they can get the offer you made.
This can be a link to a download page, a whitepaper, a PDF, etc.

4. Create a join form.
Even though we are not using web pages, Aweber requires you to complete this
step in order to complete the process.
If you have a desire to utilize this step in conjunction with your squeeze pages or
lead capture pages, you can return to this step later on.

Forwarding Your Email Requests
You are now ready to setup your branded email address to forward to your Aweber
list name email.
You will need to access the branded email you are going to use and add your list
name email in the forwarding options. Again your list name will look similar to
this:
WhateverYourListNameIs@aweber.com
Take your list name and add it in the forwarding options of whatever email service
you use to setup your branded email.
Because there are way too many potential providers, I don’t show how to set this
up. You should be able to navigate your help section to find out how to forward
incoming emails to another email address.
Now that you have completed the forwarding of your branded email address with
your Aweber list email address, every time someone sends an email request to your
branded email that request will be forwarded to your Aweber list name email
which will then automatically send a confirmation message email to confirm the
request.
You are now ready to begin accepting requests and generating leads!
You should also have an effective email marketing follow up sequence that will
help you build a relationship with your new found subscribers.
Follow Up Sequence
Your email follow up sequence is the most important component for building a
relationship with your subscribers.

You will need to feed your subscribers with valuable content on a consistent basis,
in order to cultivate your list and receive a higher volume of responses to your
offers and messages.
The easiest way of accomplishing this is to create a follow up sequence of emails
and load them into your autoresponder to be delivered at a later time.
Aweber has some really cool resources on accomplishing this.
You can also read their blog and find really useful information regarding this and a
lot of other relevant content as well.
Once you create a great relationship with your subscribers, you can then monetize
your leads by promoting your own products and services and/or making
recommendations to purchase other products and services where you get paid for
the referral.
Don’t sleep on this very powerful strategy to exponentially grow your revenue!
Make This System Rock
In order to make this system really rock, your marketing campaigns must be of
high quality and offer something of high perceived value to get people to take
action.
Remember, this is not the typical means of email marketing in which you are
constantly sending traffic to a squeeze page or lead capture page.
By creating relevant and high quality marketing campaigns, you can begin
generating leads that will continue to grow your database on autopilot.
Most of the strategies I am going to share with you can last for months or even
years and continue to produce new and fresh leads.
You should also consider creating a simple formula for creating your messages for
the “hook” you need to get people to request your information.

This is a proven formula I have been using that works like a charm and can be

3. Tell them what to do
Here is the explanation:
People are moved to take action based on a pain point or problem they are having.
We all want a fast fix for an issue, a quick remedy to a painful situation, etc.
I am sure everyone you know (including yourself) has been in a painful situation
before in some fashion.
Also, getting pleasure has been proven to increase the likelihood of a person taking
action.
Everyone wants happiness in some shape or form.
I use the word joy, but it can also be substituted for pleasure, happiness, etc.
Last but not least, sympathy can sometimes move people much faster than the first
two.
How many times have you been moved by sympathy to take action?
If you think about it, I am sure this will get your mind to understand what I mean.

Online Forums
Forums are one of the best places to use this system.
Because of the community style atmosphere, you can give quality information on
your topic of expertise related to your market and add your “hook” in your
message to get new subscribers and leads.
Blogs
Whether you run your own blog, use guest blogging, or make comments, blogs
present a huge opportunity with the system.
Blogs are designed to be content rich and you can use this to your advantage.
Social Media
Here is another huge market to tap into with this system.
Sites like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Linkin etc. are magnets for internet traffic.
Social media makes it easy to go where the fish are and drop your “hook” in the
social media pond.
Also, video is hot!
Video is becoming increasingly popular on the internet.
Internet access will get faster and faster with the adoption of broadband, so expect
this trend to continue.

This maybe one of the most underrated forms of marketing in the online marketing
community.
When used properly, press releases can pump plenty of leads your way.

Here is another killer strategy that is very effective.
Since your audience is usually very captive and attentive, you can drop a little hint
many times over during a podcast.
I recommend dropping your email address and a short hook about why they should
request info from you a few times during your podcast.
This works whether you are the interviewer, being interviewed, or giving some
rock solid content that you deliver via podcasts.
BlogTalkRadio
If you have a BlogTalkRadio show, you should definitely take full advantage.
You can also contact other hosts in your niche market or in a market related to
your niche to get more exposure and ultimately more opportunities to drop your
email address.
Online Classified Sites
Craigslist ranks as one of the world’s most visited websites.
You can post your ads there and in the body of the ad, you can give out your email
address.

Others sites such as Backpage, and Us Free Ads are also really great sources for
leads.
Webinars/Teleseminars

Once again, email address dropping is easy.
Whether you are a panelist or the organizer of these types of events, they work like
a charm.
Speaking Gigs
If you get speaking gigs, this system is a no brainer.
You can also seek out speaking opportunities in your niche market or local area.
Networking Functions
Email list building and lead generation is all about relationships, which is a natural
byproduct of networking.
Networking makes it easy to get leads with this system since the audience is
usually highly targeted and captive.
Newspaper Classified Ads
Do not underestimate this strategy!

Classifieds still work, especially in the niche classifieds targeted to local
communities.
I’m not sure about the big newspapers, but the smaller community-oriented
classifieds work great.

All the strategies listed above are the ones I believe are the most powerful, but
there are literally hundreds of other ways you can use this strategy almost
immediately.
I recommend using as many of these as possible.
This will allow all your efforts to compound on top of each other and eventually
your lead generation efforts will grow at a massive rate.
