century learners are familiar with. You
may even come up with your own.
Then prepare to explain what they
mean.
2. Voice Projection
-is the strength of speaking in which the speaker
uses his/her voice loudly and clearly
3. Try doing the following exercises for better voice
projection.
1. Do some facial warm-up exercises: massage
your facial muscles; scrunch and stretch them by
opening your mouth wide.
4. 2. Take a deep breath. Make sure that you involve your
diaphragm in breathing-it means that your chest or
stomach must fill up with air and your shoulder must
remain relaxed. Hold your breath for as long as you can;
then exhale.
5. 3. Take a deep breath again. Use your diaphragm. Then
say “Ha!” loudly while exhaling.
4. Finally, take a deep breath using your diaphragm.
Then steadily count aloud for as long as you can. Make
sure that your voice is loud and clear.
6. Make sure you vary your voice projection
depending on the kind of speaking activity you are
doing or on what you want to emphasize.
