CHRIST THE ANTIDOTE REGARDING DEATH
Part 67.
The Best Will Be Last!
"The best wine is always served first. Then after the guests have had plenty, the other wine is served. But
you have kept the best until last!" John 2:10. Contemporary English Version.
The key to what we are about to share lies in the following three verses of the same chapter.
''Jesus answered them, Destroy (undo) this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again. Then the
Jews replied, It took forty-six years to build this temple (sanctuary), and will You raise it up in three
days? But He had spoken of the temple which was His body.'' John 2:19-21. Amplified.
What a wonderful, wonderful promise we are left by Jesus in parabolic form. Quite often the phrase
two days, three days & on the third day are mentioned in both the old & new testaments, these are all very
significant. The phrase ''But He had spoken of the temple which was His body'' had at least a double
meaning; First of all Jesus was referring to His natural body, secondly He was pointing forward in time to
His corporate body which of course is referring to what is transpiring in this many membered body right
now, the culmination I believe to be in the not too far distant future. One very good confirmation that
springs to mind is the verse that Jesus left us in Luke's Gospel.
''Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I am
perfected.'' Luke 13:32b. The ASV. The third day ''I am perfected.'' The Amplified would tell us ''I
finish My course'', the Bible In Basic English ''my work will be complete'' The Douay-Rheims ''I am
consummated'' The Greek Diaglott further tells us ''and in the third I shall have ended'' The, Easy To
Read version renders ''The work will be finished'' Good News Bible ''I shall finish My work'' The
KJV ''I shall be perfected'' And last but not least the Aramaic Lamsa Version would say ''I will be
through.'' For the Christ who is in us is to raise us up into the complete fullness of the experience ''The
best which is last!''
I have quoted these different versions of description of the last part of the 32nd
verse of Luke 13 to
emphasise that it is the best wine that is to be shared with the corporate body of Christ. There was once a
famous entertainer who was in vogue in the early 1900s & died around 1950 his most popular favourite
saying was ''you ain't seen nothin yet.'' When we think of the life of Moses, in the worst possible
scenario for the people of Israel, a prophet turns up on the scene & in the power of God delivers Israel out
of the clutches of the worst of a Tsarist type of regime we could possibly imagine. God had a time, the
people of that day had never experienced the power of the miraculous Spirit in it's equality ever before &
furthermore in a great part it lasted for 450 years. If I read my Bible correctly during the 40 year desert
trek no one was sick, no one had to supply their own food, shoes etc. Their resources were completely in
their obedience of following the cloud by day & the pillar of fire by night & heeding the instruction of
Moses who acted in God's stead. The wonderful & almost unbelievable part of all of this is that for 450
years there is no record of any of the true Israelites ever needing or attending a physician within that time.
I would remind us that this was all under the law; Jesus Christ the promised messiah has now come
whether it be outer court, holy place or most holy place & has left us with a promised heritage far, far
greater than Moses! ''We ain't seen nothin yet!''
As confirmation the Lord spoke directly to Joshua who is almost the perfect type of what is happening
today, these are His words.
''Pass through the camp and command the people, Prepare your provisions, for within three days you
shall pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you
to possess.'' Joshua 1:11. Amp. Within three days you shall take possession of the land. Thus we are

promised by Jesus ''and in three days I will raise it up again.'' We are the land & this means full
possession of that land which is the Temple of God both singular & His corporate body.
Our Full Heritage In Christ!
What Jesus Christ has done all men shall do; and what He is all men shall be. We all of course are so glad
that Jesus left us with the wonderful words Greater things than these shall you do. ''I assure you, most
solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do;
and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.'' John 14:12. Amp.
With the New Testament most verses can be applied to outer court, holy place & the most holy place
which of course is the ''secret place of the Most High'' Ps 91. We are at the moment concerned with this
most holy & high place & learning of the expectation of the Father Himself that all that the man Jesus
Christ has done ALL MEN shall do & what He now is all men shall be. We earlier read in Jn 2:19 the
extent of both His love & His intention with ALL MANKIND.
''Because he is attached to Me, I shall deliver him; I shall make him impregnable, for he knows My
Name." Psa 91:14. Concordant Literal.
What Jesus Christ has accomplished all men can & will eventually do the exactly same. When He
demonstrated power to conquer death He was our forerunner showing us that in the future that He would
bring us to the place that we too would know & experience the same mysteries of life, death, & of the
resurrection of the dead. So in the third day Christ through us will be demonstrating that, what I can do
you will do exactly the same for His is keeping the best till last.
As we gain more confidence, expectation & assurance of what our definite & wonderful future is, faith
also arises & increases & the division between soul & spirit decreases – as it were – the truth is that there
is no division between soul & spirit as Christ cannot be divided, the separation is only in our limited
carnal perception. Faith & confidence will eventually lift & overrule the division & that which has been
ours since even Gen 1:27 ''Made man in the IMAGE of God'' will once again be re-realised & will be
ours in the reality of our experience. In truth every man is God made flesh. To iterate we will once again
realise in fullness that we are in fact the IMAGE OF GOD.
That Which We Truly Are!
As we have already shared the main reason that Jesus rose from death is so that we might also know &
have faith to do the same. Once we begin to realise that our flesh can & will be transmuted into a higher
form which is what we are now being made more aware of in that the ''best will be last'' then we in that
higher form will be exact replicas of our - pattern Son - Jesus Christ & also a master of all manifest
things - that which can be seen & touched - & can at will like our forerunner Jesus take any form we
choose but first must come the determination that nothing else matters but the will of God & to be an
overcomer only in faith & dependence of his true identity the Christ within.
''Man puts an end to darkness and searches out to the farthest limit the ore in gloom and deep
darkness.'' Job 28:3. English Standard. Notice searches out to the farthest limit & not limiting His Spirit.
''For from of old no one has heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You,
Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who [earnestly] waits for Him.'' Isa 64:4. Amp.
Overcoming The Delusion!
We have been promised that we shall awaken & overcome the delusion of the Adamic dream. In a most
excellent documentary film of the autobiography of the ''Last Trapper'' which is set in the wilds of
Alaska he gives us this advice; In nature to survive we must become one with & learn to work with nature
& not against it. I personally believe that there must be a carry over of this into the spiritual, if we work
against one another we will never get the job done. James the brother of Jesus would tell us.

''Howbeit, if you are discharging the royal law, according to the scripture, "You shall be loving your
associate as yourself, you are doing ideally." James 2:8. Concordant Literal.
''For judgement is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.''
James 2:13. English Standard.
I And My Father Are One!
Part of overcoming the delusion is realising part of just how this works & that is we in truth were never
born, our Eternal Father evolved us out of His own consciousness & that which God has joined together
cannot & will not be put asunder. ''I and My Father are one'' is not made so because you or I say it, it is
made so because God made it so & nothing can break that relationship with any one of us, no matter how
much we like to fit the literal word to our way of thinking & interpretation. In the beginning the divine
consciousness was ours, we were intrinsically Elohim, as infinite, eternal & immortal as God, for God
consciousness was our individual consciousness & these were ONE. I and my Father ARE ONE. I ask the
question, can God ever change that which He is? ''Man is fearfully & wonderfully made'' this truth has
never ever been realised by the humanity of any man. We are now emerging & awaking from this dream
of humanity, this nightmare that has been veiling our true consciousness but is now receding as the
''truth is setting you free.'' Oh yes you can record it in your hearts The Best Will Be Last!
''according as He did choose us in him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and
unblemished before Him, in love, having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ
to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,'' Eph 1:4-5. Young's Literal Translation.
In That Day!
''In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David, the fallen hut or booth, and close up its breaches;
and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old,'' Amos 9:11. Amplified.
''As in the days of old.'' These are the varying translations of this last phrase. ''As in the past.'' ''As
in the ancient days.'' ''As in the days of the eon.'' ''As it was before'' ''Rebuild it and make it as it
was long ago.'' Now there are some now reading this article who are well aware what this means, but for
the sake of those who are in the throes of grasping the further deeper truths that this verse is imparting to
us, the inspirer of the writer Amos does not only have in mind the day & age that David lived in. No! He
is meaning in the very ancient of days, in the days of the eon. ''When the morning stars sang together
and all the sons of God shouted for joy?'' Job 38:7. Amp. That realisation & divinity that was
experienced at that time would return but this time with a wonderful bonus & that is that combined with
the flesh as Jesus Christ rose from the dead & showed us in Luke, ''See My hands and My feet, that it is I
Myself! Feel and handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.
And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. And while [since] they still could
not believe it for sheer joy and marvelled, He said to them, Have you anything here to eat?'' Luke
24:39-41. Amplified. The reason for this is that we also would eventually do exactly likewise! ''The best
is last.''
Breaking The Sound Barrier!
If we look at history we find many amazing instances both good & sad. Many, many years back a man by
the name of Copernicus declared that the world was round instead of the popular concept of that time that
the world was flat, that man was imprisoned for his declaration & so were a number of others such was the
furore for daring to go against accepted tradition. Such has been the problem of those who are bias of
anything new or that which is outside the box which they do not understand. Both doubt & scepticism
are a part of our humanity. When the steam train was declared as the new way of travel many prophesied
its doom, they were wrong as has been proven. Similar circumstances were with the motor car &
aeroplanes & so the list goes on. I was once in a church meeting & a very well known preacher stood up
& prophesied that no one would ever get to the moon as God would never allow the heavens to be
desecrated by man; what he had to say sounded good to some as he used scripture to support his opinion,
but he was very, very wrong. There came a time as many would remember that it was declared that the

sound barrier was going to be broken. The full principle of what this means is amazing, it would seem an
impossibility as it is going against all that would seem logical. So after the announcement that it would
happen you can imagine the doubt, scepticism, ridicule & hostility but against all the odds that which
seemed insane to our natural reasoning happened. So it is today with the sons of God, those who are born
of the woman even the man-child, those who are taking God at His word,
''I will explain a mystery to you. Not every one of us will die, but we will all be changed.'' 1Co 15:51.
CEV.
''has power over everything, and He will make these poor bodies of ours like his own glorious body.''
Phillipians 3:21. CEV. This seems to be going against all that seems logical or what the human mind
conceives to be right, but we are not ''of them who draw back'' but progress into that which is divine &
supernatural & that which is true spiritual reality & a very real part of our being. Those who had to do
with the breaking of the sound barrier would not give up or listen to the scepticism & unbelief of opposing
men. The forerunners of what God has planned for all men will in type be breaking a spiritual sound
barrier - as it were- they will be overcoming death. Another example would be that we need a paradigm-
shift.
What Is A Paradigm-Shift?
In 1962, Thomas Kuhn wrote The Structure of Scientific Revolution, and fathered, defined and
popularised the concept of "paradigm shift" (p.10). Kuhn argues that scientific advancement is not
evolutionary, but rather is a "series of peaceful interludes punctuated by intellectually violent revolutions",
and in those revolutions "one conceptual world view is replaced by another".
Think of a Paradigm Shift as a change from one way of thinking to another. It's a revolution, a
transformation, a sort of metamorphosis. It just does not happen, but rather it is driven by agents of
change.
For example, agriculture changed early primitive society. The primitive Indians existed for centuries
roaming the earth constantly hunting and gathering for seasonal foods and water. However, by 2000 B.C.,
Middle America was a landscape of very small villages, each surrounded by patchy fields of corn and
other vegetables.
Agents of change helped create a paradigm-shift moving scientific theory from the Plolemaic system
(the earth at the centre of the universe) to the Copernican system (the sun at the centre of the universe),
and moving from Newtonian physics to Relativity and Quantum Physics. Both movements eventually
changed the world view. These transformations were gradual as old beliefs were replaced by the new
paradigms creating "a new gestalt" (p. 112).
Likewise, the printing press, the making of books and the use of vernacular language inevitably
changed the culture of a people and had a direct affect on the scientific revolution. Johann Gutenberg's
invention in the 1440's of movable type was an agent of change. With the invention of the printing press,
books became readily available, smaller and easier to handle and cheap to purchase. Masses of people
acquired direct access to the scriptures. Attitudes began to change as people were relieved from church
domination.
Similarly, agents of change are driving a new paradigm shift today. The signs are all around us. For
example, the introduction of the personal computer and the internet have impacted both personal and
business environments, and is a catalyst for a Paradigm Shift. We are shifting from a mechanistic,
manufacturing, industrial society to an organic, service based, information centred society, and increases
in technology will continue to impact globally. Change is inevitable. It's the only true constant.
In conclusion, for millions of years we have been evolving and will continue to do so. Change is
difficult. Human Beings resist change; however, the process has been set in motion long ago and we will
continue to co-create our own experience. Kuhn states that "awareness is prerequisite to all acceptable
changes of theory." It all begins in the mind of the person. What we perceive, whether normal or meta-
normal, conscious or unconscious, are subject to the limitations and distortions produced by our inherited
and socially conditional nature. However, we are not restricted by this for we can change. We are moving
at an accelerated rate of speed and our state of consciousness is transforming and transcending. Many are

What Would Our Change Up Entail To
Be A Part Of This Paradigm Shift?
There is an old saying that carries with it information that would be good for us to to consider & that is ''it
is a foolish man who carries all his eggs in one basket'' The reason for this thought is that no matter how
close to God any man has been in the past, no matter what truths he has had revealed to him & no matter
how highly we have regarded him, he or any other man has not had it all. We are all a part of the
message, no man has yet been the basket that should carry all of our eggs. Alone or individually we are
all a part of the message & together we have it all only in the one who is our true identity even Christ.
It is a recognised fact that Christendom-s greatest reason for her lack of power & close relationship
with God would be her critical attitude to others who are not like-minded. Would it be conceivable to
consider that some of this attitude has carried over among ourselves? There are some attitudes that are
right now being brought to our attention that need be cast out from among us. When this happens hear
what our God has promised through Isaiah to those who act accordingly.
"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will spring up quickly; and your
vindication will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will guard your back. Then you'll call, and
the LORD will answer; you'll cry for help, and he'll respond, 'Here I am.' "If you do away with the
yoke among you, and pointing fingers and malicious talk;'' Isa 58:8-9. ISV.
This is a very pertinent verse & carries with it both the fault & the remedy. The positive remedy which
comes first needs to be considered closely as it was a most wonderful promise first to Israel if heeded & is
a most definite carry over for spiritual Israel - being ourselves - even today. ''Then your light will break
forth like the dawn and your healing will spring up quickly'' To have this work in our lives there first
of all needs to be a recognition of the problem if it is in fact a part of our lives, ''If you do away with the
yoke among you, and pointing fingers.'' I would add ''among the son-ship brethren.''
Who Are The Offspring Of God?
''For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we
are also his offspring.'' Acts 17:28. KJV.
''for in Him we are living and moving and are, as some poets of yours also have declared, 'For of
that race also are we'.'' Acts 17:28. Concordant.
''and he gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are. "We are his children," just as
some of your poets have said.'' Acts 17:28. Contemporary English Version.
''For in him we have life and motion and existence; as certain of your verse writers have said, For
we are his offspring.'' Acts 17:28. Bible In Basic English. As much as it may go against the grain for
some this verse is referring to all men, ALL MEN. This word offspring is from Strongs G1085 genos &
is also from G1096 “kin” & is connected to offspring or stock. Now please consider these following
verses & compare them with what many of us have to date understood.
''Now He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all men are alive [whether in the
body or out of it] and they are alive [not dead] unto Him [in definite relationship to Him].'' Luke 20:38.
Amp. Did we understand what was said, all men are alive to Him, right now.
''Now he is not the God of the dead but of the living: for all men are living to him'' Luke 20:38. Bible
In Basic English. Are we able yet to receive this? All men are living to Him. This understanding, the

changing of our up-to-date awareness is a part of our ever increasing paradigm-shift.
''There it was--the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light]
that illumines every person.'' John 1:9. Amp.
''And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin
and will You be angry with all the congregation?'' Num 16:22. Amp. He is the God of the spirits of all
flesh. Are we not encouraged that God has put eternity in EVERY MANS HEART. Ecc 3:11.
Now the above may seem a little new & unusual to some, but we need to concede that there are other
further understandings. When we will admit that the blinkers of only my point of view may be hindering
me, I am speaking for all of us? Many of us to date have thought that when referring to those who are not
''saved'' that it is us & them. Not so with the understanding of our great & all encompassing Father. God
is completely in charge of every man & they are going through the exact process that God intended. Are
we yet able to receive this or is our understandimg still contaminated with Christendom that has been a
carry over for many? God has a time of fulfilment for every man as we are all going through our stuff &
our great Creator Saviour has everything under control as He is in charge of His very own chess game as
it were & is playing it His way & not man's limited humanistic-ally inspired way. God is completely in
control of all things & is completely responsible for every man. Is it time that we began to allow our to-
date perceptions of thinking to be upgraded?
The Changing Of Our Preconceived Mindsets!
The theme of what we have been sharing of late is the attitude of judging one another & the pointing of
the finger & malicious talk & the persecuting of one another's belief systems. Whilst I do not allow you
your freedom of your beliefs & realise that there is truth of what you say from your perspective & I judge
you & persecute you & have no compunction in slating you with an intolerant condemning attitude we are
at a loss to go ahead in love, I will not use the word tolerance as it is useless. I am right & you are
wrong will put our cause into reverse every time. Nothing less than love for one another is the only
answer for every one of us. Our Father wants us to learn that we are not in a competition with one
another trying to show that we are right by our forceful writing, this sort of thing will only raise the
hackles in others even though it may be well meaning. As one has well written.
''We are called to be the servants of all men, but men are not to be our masters. We must be willing to
give our lives for men but not to be controlled or influenced by them. As the apostle exhorted, ''With
good will render service as to the Lord, and not to men.'' Ephesians 6:7.

Do not judge lest you be judged yourselves. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by
your standard of measure, it shall be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2.
God Has Not Yet Finalised, The New Thing!
It has been a well known practice of our Christ to take away the first to establish the second, the
problem has always been that when He wants to take it away completely we have always found excuses
to hang on to something of the old & not let go, I repeat ''completely.'' In the early 1900s when the
pentecostal experience was being established many insisted on mixing the old with the new & for some
time it was hard to find a pure seed without a mix. Why? The insistence was, & many times ignorantly
''the old is better'' & so we find today the same attitude, a blindness on the part of the satisfied believer,
''But new wine must be put into fresh wineskin's. And no one after drinking old wine immediately
desires new wine, for he says, The old is good or better.'' Lk 5:38-39. Amp.
''Who is blind but My servant [Israel]? Or deaf like My messenger whom I send? Who is blind like
the one who is at peace with Me [who has been admitted to covenant relationship with Me]? Yes, who is
blind like the Lord's servant? You have seen many things, but you do not observe or apprehend their

true meaning. His ears are open, but he hears not! Isa 42:19-20. Amp
In my opinion the NEW THING has not yet been fully established & an open heart & mind need to be
ours before the new can replace the old. It is easy to share theories which come from established &
known understandings, it is another thing to be seeing the new that is replacing the old & mark this, ''no
one after drinking the old immediately desires the new'' for he will find some reason to prove that ''The
old is good or better.'' Spiritual understanding is very rarely a product of the literal written word, it
comes by revelation & not by known theory. God is still very much doing a NEW THING He is still very
much in the process of taking away the first to establish the second. The best wine which is including all
men is certainly part of ''the best will be last.''
''Christ is the sacrifice that takes away our sins and the sins of all the world's people.'' 1Jn 2:2.CEV.
''For to this end we labour and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the
Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.'' 1Ti 4:10. ASV. How wonderful, Christ not only
takes away sins of all the world's people, He is the saviour of the same, ALL & especially of them that
believe. Some mistakenly misinterpret the word especially for exclusively, this is an error of the worst
kind & is taking the whole verse out of context. I am glad today that I have a special awareness of who I
really am which does not exclude others who have not yet been made aware of their wonderful destiny
which includes all men. ''Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realisation of the truth.''
1Ti 2:4. CLV. If God wills something who can change it?
The Grace Of God!
In our quest for a higher plane of spirituality the awareness of the grace of God plays a very large part in
our confidence & peace. Very recently I had a most wonderful experience, a glimpse & touch of this
grace. In this experience I was given a very real understanding that the grace of God is so far above &
beyond any circumstance of what any of us can imagine no matter how far advanced we are. As the hymn
written by our wonderful brother John Newton tells us! ''I shall possess within the vail a life of Joy and
peace.'' [Even though in mentioning this he was referring to an after death experience.] John Newton
wrote these words in his journal on 21 March 1796, at the age of 70. He never forgot that “great turning
day” in 1748 when, as an obstreperous, rebellious young man, he was surprised to hear himself crying out
during a violent storm at sea, ''The Lord have mercy on us.'' For it was on that day he discovered, ''How
precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.''
Even away back in 1796 I believe that he was writing things in the spirit that he did not yet fully
understand & these wonderful words would still bless us today as we are about to enter fully into an
experience that is both within & beyond the veil that he was referring to in his limited understanding.
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord hath promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

Yes when this heart and flesh shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the vail,
A life of joy and peace.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.
This grace we can all be assured of as we read the words below penned by our great apostle Paul.
''Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or
calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Even as it is
written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep
for the slaughter. Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing
victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death
nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor
powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.'' Rom 8:35-39. Amplified.
What a wonderful future is ahead for those who would would be wondering what God has in store for
all eventually; Yes the best will certainly be left till the last.
''After two days will he revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before his
face;'' Hos 6:2. Darby. Please notice very clearly on the third day & also the phrase before His face.
Jesus told us at the beginning of our article in John 2:19 ''and in three days I will raise it up again''
Are we not also told in 1Cor 13:12 that when perfection comes that we will in reality understand fully &
clearly see Him in reality face to face? Amp.
''After two days He will bring us to life; in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His
sight.'' Hos 6:2. MKJV. Notice that we are told here that in the third day we shall live in His sight. This
works both ways, we shall see Him exactly as He is, the Amplified puts it this way ''But then I shall
know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly
known and understood by God.'' 1Cor 13:12b. This includes of course the analogy of breaking the sound
barrier which is a type of the overcoming of the last enemy which is the death of the body, the alternative
is of course ''in the twinkling of an eye we shall be changed.''
