During the next three years of this postdoc I will work on gene transfer in the thermophilic bacteria of the order thermotogales, diversity of Anthrax in soils, Gut bacteria in Fish, and finish up some remaining work from my previous Postdoc dealing with marine sediment communities. For this work I will use high-throughput sequencing to analyse (meta-) genomes and amplicon libraries.
