become disinterested in them. It's extremely common, it's not necessarily on purpose, it's just how some
people view their pets. I personally think of my dog as I expect I would treat an actual child of mine. Plus,
/u/This_Aint_Dog mentioned this is assuming it's even OP's dog. I doubt that it is his, but regardless the
scene looks like that of the beginnings of a neglected pet. I just care about animals more than I do
humans. I heard a comedian tell a joke that went along the lines of How do you know your dog is truly
mans best friend? Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of a car and drive around for an hour. Only
one of them will be happy to see you when you open the trunk...
