The document contains the lyrics to several Christian hymns and songs that reference themes of faith, God, Jesus Christ, salvation, peace, and eternal life. It includes the Apostles' Creed and concludes with a prayer for peace.
11. Lead on, O King Eternal Lead on, O King Eternal, the day of march has come; henceforth in fields of conquest Thy tents shall be our home;
12. Thru days of preparation Thy grace has made us strong, And now, O King Eternal, We lift our battle song.
13. Lead on, O King Eternal, Till sin’s fierce war shall cease, And holiness shall whisper The sweet Amen of peace;
14. For not with swords loud clashing, Nor roll of stirring drums; With deeds of love and mercy, The heav’nly kingdom comes.
15. Lead on, O King Eternal, We follow, not with fears; For gladness breaks like morning Where’er Thy face appears;
16. Thy cross is lifted o’er us: We journey in its light; The crown awaits the conquest: Lead on, O God of might
17. For the Healing of the Nations For the healing of the nations, Lord, we pray with one accord; for a just and equal sharing of the things that earth affords;
18. To a life of love in action help us rise and pledge our word, (pledge our word) help us rise and pledge our word.
19. Lead us forward into freedom; from despair your world release, that, redeemed from war and hatred, all may come and go in peace.
20. Show us how through care and goodness fear will die and hope increase, (hope increase) fear will die and hope increase.
21. You, Creator God, have written your great name on humankind; for our growing in your likeness bring the life of Christ to mind,
22. That by our response and service earth its destiny may find, (may find) earth its destiny may find.
30. Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross Jesus, keep me near the cross; There a precious fountain, Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calv’ry’s mountain.
31. In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my raptured soul shall find Rest beyond the river.
32. Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me; There the Bright and Morning Star Sheds its beams around me.
33. In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my raptured soul shall find Rest beyond the river
34. Near the cross! O Lamb of God, Bring its scenes before me; Help me walk from day to day With its shadows o’er me.
35. In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my raptured soul shall find Rest beyond the river.
36.
37. The Apostles’ Creed: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
38. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
39. Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; The third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven,
40. And sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
41. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
42. GLORIA PATRI Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
43.
44. OFFERTORY Ascribe to the Lord the honor due his Name; bring an offering and come into his courts. (Ps. 96:8)
45.
46. DOXOLOGY Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost! Amen
47.
48. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 Now, brothers (and sisters), we do not need to write to you about times and dates. You know very well that the day the Lord comes again will be a surprise like a thief that comes in the night.
49. People will say, “We have peace and we are safe.” At that time they will be destroyed quickly, as pains come quickly to a woman having a baby. And those people will not escape.
50. But you, brothers (and sisters), are not living in darkness. And so that day will not surprise you like a thief. You are all people who belong to the light. You belong to the day. We do not belong to the night or to darkness.
51. So we should not be like other people. We should not be sleeping, but we should be awake and have self-control. Those who sleep, sleep at night. Those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
52. But we belong to the day; so we should control ourselves. We should wear faith and love to protect us. And the hope of salvation should be our helmet. God did not choose us to suffer his anger, but to have salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
53. Jesus died for us so that we can live together with him. It is not important if we are alive or dead when Jesus comes. So comfort each other and give each other strength, just as you are doing now.
56. LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me; let there be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to be.
57. With God our creator, children all are we. Let us walk with each other in perfect harmony. Let peace begin with me; let this be the moment now.
58. With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow: to take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally. Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.
