Communications Coordinator

Education

I work full time as a Communications Coordinator (outreach, grant writing, event planning, website, and probably more that I cannot recall at the moment) at the Department of Physics & Astronomy, University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). Before that, I studied biochemistry for undergrad, and went on to get my MSc in experimental medicine. My thesis is available on the UBC cIRcle repository (accessible by the public). Reading and writing about science is my passion. I believe that everyone should have access to an understanding of science regardless of social status.
