What is the implication of more new sites opening- will the cake get bigger? Cause for optimism- Bigger population… The overall population has risen by 2 million since 2001, to a peak of 61.4 million Cause for concern- Continued credit crunch, less disposable income
Result of increased competition in the party sector? Not a bad thing- focus on new income streams (such as engaging with healthcare professionals re- childhood obesity or income streams with better margins (membership)? Is anyone the bucking the trend?
