• The descriptive essay is a genre of essay that asks the student to describe
something for example: object,person,place, experience, emotion, situation
etc. This genre encourages the student’s ability to create a written account
of a particular experience.

3. How to write a descriptive essay?
• First you have to choose a specific topic to write essay on. Before
writing the essay you have to compile the information about your
topic because if you don’t know what are you writing you will not
be able to describe it. Start with the introduction of your topic for
example if you are talking about a place then write about the
weather and trees,flowers,whats happening there. Then write the
body paragraph the body paragraph is the longest and main part in
a descriptive essay. Last find ways to enliven your language.
