August Introduce climate change team to SAP
Sept/oct Climate change team to liaise with Director Generals and Departmental Heads to secure buy in to
the development of a SAP.
oct Work with SAP project lead to set up working groups for each SAP
oct •Workgroups provided with SAP package (desk note and work book) – asked to gather evidence of
weather related impacts on their operational or policy delivery (a mini LCLIP) in preparation for
workshop
•Adaptation sub group provided with SAP guidance and workbook and asked to contribute to
investigating task.
End of oct Workshop 1 to take place
Oct/nov Each Workgroup to undertake stage 1 scoping.
Nov/dec Individual workshops for each SAP to develop their adaptation objectives
Dec/jan Workgroups to undertake stage 3 – identifying BAC and ACC for each adaptation objective.
Climate change team to stay in touch / support/encourage
feb Circulate draft plan
