Short films are allowable at River Valley Club, but I discourage daily television viewing. Every caregiver that has interviewed for placement has stated that they want television viewing to be limited, since when at home, television is misused as an escape outlet. When well planned, viewing a short film can be followed by discussion and word games based on information from the film, and cognitive stimulation.
