2. MICROSOFT launches HOW-OLD.net
Microsoft introduced How-Old.net, a
website to guess how old you are, at
Microsoft Build 2015 developer conference.
The site is way for Microsoft to show off
what it's working on behind the scenes, with
smarter applications that can use facial
recognition and huge amounts of data to
make intelligent guesses. Supposedly, the app
learns over time from the data everyone
uploads, improving and becoming more
accurate as more people use it.
How-Old.net isn't highly accurate, but it's
close, and it's getting better.
Using How-Old is easy. You can upload your
own photos, or choose from a Bing Image
Search.

library which allows Makers to control an
Arduino through a Bluetooth or USB
connection which will enable them to
extend their Universal
Windows Application with Arduino
commands. Developers who include this

8. THE DISAPPERABLES
Developed by Munich-based Bragi GmbH, the
Dash is a wireless in-ear headphone that looks
like a discreet hearing aid. Packed inside is a
music player, 4 gigabytes of storage, a
microphone to take phone calls — just nod
your head to accept — and sensors that
monitor your position, heart rate and body
temperature.
Nick Hunn, a consultant who lays claim to the
term ‘hearables’, reckons the Dash is just the
start. He predicts smartwatches will dominate
wearable sales for the next three years,
hearables will then overtake and, by 2020, will
account for more than half of a $30 billion
wearable device market.
9. APPLE WATCH HAS PROBLEMS
WITH TATTOOS
Apple watch heart-rate reading sensors works
on a simple principle of photo-
plethysmography.. But in a way, it really has a
simple explanation that your blood is red
because it reflects red light and absorbs green
light. So the watch will use green LED (Light
Emitting Diode) with some photo-diodes (Light
Detecting Diode) to detect the amount of
blood flowing through your wrist.
When your heart beats, the LED will absorb
green Light and in between, it will remain
undetected, so that will record in count and
you will know your heart beat.

15. The technology that Google is proposing is a
hybrid contraption that integrates the
spacebar with the trackpad on a laptop, or on
a tablet keyboard. Essentially, the trackpad
would extend into the space where the
spacebar would usually be, and "a top portion
of the trackpad may be profiled to simulate a
shape of the spacebar".
One or more spring mechanisms may be
placed under the region of the trackpad
designed to function as the spacebar, and
there could be a marked boundary that would
delineate the spacebar portion from the rest of
the trackpad.
