4) knockout
5) showdown
BOT specifications & set-up
2)The robot must be manual.
3)The maximum dimensions of the bot through the game must not exceed
250*250*300(l*b*h) in mm.
4)The maximum power that can be supplied to the bot is 18V and it will be made
available by organisers.
5)The weight of the robot must not exceed 5000kg.
6) During the course of the game you are only allowed to touch the bot while
putting/giving balls to it, you are not allowed to change the orientation, posture and
position of the bot during this process.
6) Discrepancy in any of the above might lead to disqualification.
p r e lim s
Game Field and Objects:
1) Game field consists of a semicircular shooting zone having a radius of
500mm.
2) Game field consists of three vertical rings of different diameters placed
at different distances from shooting zone.
3) Diameters of rings are 350mm,150mm and 250mm placed at a distance
1.5m,1m,1.5m from the center of semicircular zone.
4) Bottom of each ring is at a height
5) Each ring has a ball hanging in it.
Gameplay
1) ROBOT must shoot constrained to the shooting zone only.

2) Each team will be given 2 minutes to shoot as many balls as possible.

3) Only one ball is to be projected at one time.

4) If robot has successfully passed the ball through the same ring in two
consecutive turns, the bot can not shoot the same ring in the next turn.
You will be awarded zero points if you do so.

5) 20, 10 and 5 points will be awarded for each successful shot through ring of
15cm dia, 25cm dia and 35cm dia. respectively.

6) Objective of this round is to score as much points as possible.

knockout
Game field and objects
1) Game field consists of a rectangular shooting zone and a structure in front of it.

2) Game structure is bounded by two thin transparent walls separated by a distance of 300mm.

3) Structure is placed at a distance of 800mm from the manual robot shooting zone , height of structure
is 100cm. Breadth of structure is 110mm.

4) Structure consists of two kind of blocks:
-Brown block : it represents wood and is lighter.
-Grey block : it represents stone and is heavier.

5) Green balls representing pigs are placed at different positions on the structure. There are five pigs on
the structure.
Gameplay
2)ROBOT must shoot constrained to the shooting zone only.

2) Each team will be given 5 minutes to shoot 15 balls .

3) Only one ball is to be projected at one time.

4) Objective of the game is to kill all the pigs using given number of balls.

5) Pigs will be considered dead once they fall off from the structure.

6) Points will be awarded for 1) killing each pig 2) for each block that falls down and 3)
for each unused ball from the given 15 balls if you have completed the game objective.
-10 points for each brown block.
-20 points for each grey block.
-100 points for killing each pig.
-50 points for each unused ball only if a team has completed the objective.
7) Game will be considered to be END when all the pigs are killed.

8) Top FIVE teams will be selected for the final showdown on following basis :
-Teams completing the given objective (i.e. to kill all the pigs) will be given first priority.
-For teams with a tie on above criteria, ranking will be decided on basis of total points
scored.
-For teams having a tie with above two criteria, ranking will be decided on the basis of
time taken for killing the last pig. The team having lesser time will be given higher
ranking.

-If teams completing the given objective is less than 5, then remaining teams will be
selected on the basis of total points scored.
-If still there is a tie, team using lesser number of balls will be given higher ranking.
-If number of balls used is also same, time taken for last point scored will be considered
as ranking criteria. Lesser the time , higher the ranking.
