A well designed rainwater capture and treatment system assures that
it stays that way.
Rainwater has none of the contaminants that are being found in
municipal water supplies such as pharmaceuticals, industrial
contaminants, fertilizers and pesticides from runoff, chlorine, or
flouride.
It is easier to provide clean potable water compared to highly involved
municipal water treatment plants which meet drinking water most
of the time but pass contaminants on to users.
