Oтделение культурологии факультета философии НИУ ВШЭ Научно-учебная группа «Труд, знание и досуг в постиндустриальном обществе» Москва, 26-27 ноября 2013 Конференция посвящена культурным практикам в их отношении к труду и досугу в современном капитализме, активно пересмaтривающем границы между ними Кризис промышленного капитализма и фордизма-тейлоризма не означал «конца труда», но возвестил его глубокие преобразования. Производство вырвалось за пределы фабричных стен. Граница между рабочим и свободным временем стала расплывчатой и проницаемой. До недавних пор иудео-христианская цивилизация видела залог искупления и избавления именно в труде. Теперь же работы становится мало да «и та совсем не та». Типичной стала ситуация не пролетария, а прекария. Какой сценарий «экономии спасения» может предложить ему общество? Сможет ли цивилизация строиться на фундаменте уже не труда, но досуга? Особую амбивалентность обретает свободное время – время преодоления отчуждения и, вместе с тем, время потребления, сфера инвестиций мощных «индустрий досуга». Не становится ли оно по-своему продуктивным, а заодно и новым источником отчуждения? Как это влияет на конструирование субъективности? Как истолковывать новые феномены –сетевую солидарность, постоянное виртуальное взаимодействие, требования «пособия на существование», альтернативные экономические и экологические микропроекты? Как маргинальные забавы или же как основу завтрашнего полиса и ойкоса? Политики на Западе регулярно обещают «реиндустриализацию», а в России – поворот от сырьевой к высокотехнологичной экономике. А какое будущее – в России и в мире – показывает барометр культурных практик? Рабочие языки – английский, русский, французский (с переводом). Git is rapidly taking over the development workplace, and nowadays it is integrated with many development, testing and deployment platforms. But one of the downsides of high-level tools is that they can hide the details of what is happening under the hood. So when things go wrong or just get complicated it can be hard to understand why git behaves the way it does. But at its core Git consists of a few simple concepts that, when understood, make it a much more intuitive tool and enables powerful workflows. This talk introduces these core Git concepts and uses them to clarify some examples of seemingly counterintuitive behaviour. It also introduces some of Git's less-known features and tricks that are useful to have in your arsenal. This is an intermediate-to-advanced course for developers who are already using or investigating Git and want to gain a greater understanding of how it works.

При попытке охарактеризовать современное общество социальные теоретики используют понятие «постиндустриальное общество», а также ряд более специальных и конкретных терминов – «экономика знания» (knowledge society, Wissensgesellschaft) или «экономика услуг» (service economy, Dienstleistungsgesellschaft). Центральный тезис настоящей работы заключается в том, что ряд принципиальных особенностей современного общества недостаточно эксплицирован названными теориями, но требует большего внимания к эмоциональной составляющей современного общества, культуры и экономики – современный рынок обнаруживает тенденцию к коммерциализации человеческих чувств. В рамках работы рассматривается теория «общества переживаний» (Erlebnisgesellschaft, experience society) в контексте теории постиндустриального общества, а также имеет место обращение к современным типологиям, которые сегодня приняты в современной психологии и нейрофизиологии. Последняя часть работы посвящена рассмотрению исторических предпосылок формирования «общества переживаний» и изучению проблематики появления сложной эмоциональной культуры, в пространстве которой мыслит себя современный человек.

Tracing the root cause of a performance issue requires a lot of patience, experience, and focus. It’s so hard that we sometimes attempt to guess by trying out tentative fixes, but that usually results in frustration, messy code, and a considerable waste of time and money. This talk explains how to correctly zoom in on a performance bottleneck using three levels of profiling: distributed tracing, metrics, and method profiling. After we learn to read the JVM profiler output as a flame graph, we explore a series of bottlenecks typical for backend systems, like connection/thread pool starvation, invisible aspects, blocking code, hot CPU methods, lock contention, and Virtual Thread pinning, and we learn to trace them even if they occur in library code you are not familiar with. Attend this talk and prepare for the performance issues that will eventually hit any successful system.
