Papa Cloud Family
Once upon a time, there lived a Clouds family. Papa Cloud, Mama Cloud, and Cloud children lived
quietly in the sky.
Every morning, the cloud children went to the sky playground to play with the slide. But since there was
only one slide, they had to take turns on the slide. Lody, the youngest cloud child, looked impatient. He could not
wait for his turns to come. His brother, Tody, didn’t like his attitude. Suddenly, they were quarrelling. Their white
bodies became grey. It meant they were very angry. When the clouds were angry, water usually came out of
their bodies. It meant rain for the people on Earth.
“Stop it, children! Stop Fighting!” Papa Cloud said.
“You can play with the slide in turns. Now, shake hands. Both of you!” ordered Papa Cloud.
Lody and Tody shaked hands and slowly their colors changed. Their bodies became fair white again.
The rain stopped and people on Earth could go on their activities again.

Dr. Mohammad Hatta
Muhammad Hatta was of Indonesian founding fathers. He lived from 1902 until 1980. Together with
Soekarno, he proclaimed the independence of Indonesia on 17th August 1945.
Muhammad Hatta was born on 12th August 1902 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. When he was still in
junior high school in Bukittinggi he joined the league of Young Sumatrans.
When he finished his study in Bukittinggi, he moved to Batavia. Then, he went to the Netherlands to
continue his study. When he was there, he participated actively in the National Movement. As a result, he was
arrested by the Dutch government.
In 1932, Bung Hatta went back to Indonesia. He joined a political organization called Pendidikan
Nasional Indonesia. This organization wanted Indonesian people to know many things about politic. Because of
this activity he was arrested again. He was sent to Boven Digul, and later to Banda Neira as a prisoner. Before
the Japanese invanded Indonesia in 1942 he was brought back to Java.
On 17th August 1945, two days after Japan surrended to the Allies, Bung Karno and Bung Hatta
declared the independence of Indonesia. Then they were selected as the president and vice president. Bung
Hatta was the vice president until 1956. He resigned and concentrated in writing. On 14th March 1980 Bung
Hatta passed away in Jakarta.
Muhammad Hatta was one of the greatest people in Indonesia. People will always remember him as an honest
and sincere person.

Once upon a time, in a far away land, there lived a princess named Rapunzel. When she was born a
witch took her away and locked her in a tower with no door. The tower was dark and ugly. The witch always said,
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair." And she did. The witch would climb up her hair to give her bread and
water. She would only stay with her for a little while. Rapunzel was very lonely. She made friends with the birds,
who visited her each day. The birds taught her how to sing. She thought that she would be locked in the tower
forever.
Then one day, a prince was riding by the castle and heard a beautiful voice coming from the tower. The
prince followed the voice. He saw the tower in the castle. He tried to get up the tower to see who was making
that beautiful sound but he couldn't find a door. All at once he heard a grouchy voice. He hid in the bushes. He
saw the witch climb up the hair. When the witch left he said, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair." Then he
climbed up and met Rapunzel. They had fallen in love and planed for Rapunzel’s escape.
Unfortunately, when the big day came the prince got caught by the witch. She tied him up and she
turned herself into the prince. Then she climbed up Rapunzel’s hair. She cut Rapunzel’s hair then turned herself
back into a witch and tells Rapunzel, "How dare you! You will never escape. You will never marry the prince. I
will take away your beautiful singing voice." And she did. Then the witch climbed on her broom and used her
magic to fly away. The prince was still in the dungeon were the put him. There was a small window. The prince
began to whistle to his horse. His horse heard him and came to investigate. The prince said "Horses go get my
sword in the bushes." So his horse went and got the sword. The horse pushed the sword into the small window.
The sword fell down standing in the corner.

Aloe Vera is also known as the “crocodile’s tongue” plant in Indonesia. It is called so because the leave
is thick, long and sharp, and the sides are serrated like the body of a crocodile. Aloe Vera is planted in dry areas
and in warm climates. It takes little water to grow.
Aloe Vera is a short-stemmed succulent plant growing to 60-100 cm tall. Spreading by offsets, the
stems are thick and fleshy, green to grey-green, with some varieties showing white flecks on the upper and lower
stem surfaces.
Aloe Vera is a multifunctional plant. It can be used to cure a wound caused by burning. Using aloe Vera
to heal the wound is easy and simple. Pick the leaves, peel the rind, then squeeze the sticky liquid and spread it
over the wound. Aloe Vera also can be made into healthy drink to prevent rheumatism and diabetes because it
contains vitamin and minerals. Generally, the drink helps to repair the damaged cells and makes the organs of
the human body work well. Aloe Vera can also make our hair thick too. Apply it over the scalp and massage it
gently so it could soak thoroughly. Ten minutes later, rinse the hair.

Equipment:
Old paper, magazines, or newspapers Bleach
Blender/food processor White glue
Bucket Iron
Insect screens/strainers Water
Wire
Directions:
First, shape wires into a rectangular shape.
Then, cover the wire frame with insect screens and sew it. After that, rip the paper into small pieces.
And then, put the torn paper in a bucket and fill it with warm water. Add one table spoon of bleach. Soak
the paper for a half an hour.
Next, put a cup of soaked paper in a blender, add some bleached water and blend it. And then, pour the
blended paper in a large rectangular container. e.g. sink or tray.
After that, repeat step 5 and 6 until all of the soaked paper are blended.
Then, add and mix two table spoon of white glue to the blended paper.
After that, dip the screen frame into the blended paper. Lift and rinse the water for a minute.
Then, dry the paper (with the screen frame still on) in the sun.
And then, peel the papers out of the frame screens when it’s dry.
Finally, iron the paper.

Panda
Pandas are mammals. They are tame animal and they are kind of raccoon. Originally, pandas lived in
South and East China and parts of Myanmar and Vietnam. Today, pandas are found in six isolated forest areas
in Sichuan, Gansu, and Shaanxi provinces in China. Pandas live in high mountainous areas, usually from 2,700
to 3,700 meters (8,500 to 11,500 feet) above sea level, that have natural forested areas with fir, spruce, and
bamboo. Many people think that the pandas only eats stems, leaves and bamboo, but it will also eat berries, fruit,
flowers, fungi, grass and insects. It also eats flowers like crocuses and irises which grow in its mountain habitat.
In the wild it will also catch fish and hunt small birds and rodents, like bamboo rats. This is not enough to live on,
though, so it mainly eats various species of bamboo. Pandas have claws to protect their selves from danger

Together with Soekarno, he proclaimed the independence of Indonesia on 17th August 1945. Muhammad Hatta was born on 12th August 1902 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. When he was still in junior high school in Bukittinggi he joined the league of Young Sumatrans. When he finished his study in Bukittinggi, he moved to Batavia. Then, he went to the Netherlands to continue his study. When he was there, he participated actively in the National Movement. As a result, he was arrested by the Dutch government. In 1932, Bung Hatta went back to Indonesia. He joined a political organization called Pendidikan Nasional Indonesia. This organization wanted Indonesian people to know many things about politic. Because of this activity he was arrested again. He was sent to Boven Digul, and later to Banda Neira as a prisoner. Before the Japanese invanded Indonesia in 1942 he was brought back to Java. On 17th August 1945, two days after Japan surrended to the Allies, Bung Karno and Bung Hatta declared the independence of Indonesia. Then they were selected as the president and vice president. Bung Hatta was the vice president until 1956. He resigned and concentrated in writing. On 14th March 1980 Bung Hatta passed away in Jakarta.
