This document discusses the use of pattern languages by Kawasaki City, Japan to improve welfare policies. It presents two sets of patterns: 1) Employment of the Disabled Patterns, which includes 30 patterns to promote hiring people with disabilities, and 2) Welfare Innovation Patterns, which includes 27 patterns to develop innovative products and services for welfare. Example cases are provided that demonstrate how people with disabilities have gained work experience and confidence through the application of these patterns. The authors propose continuing to refine the patterns and use new products identified to further improve living standards.

has become an isolated atmosphere in the workplace.
Problem If there are few greetings and conversations in the
workplace and it is difficult to enter the team, a
psychological distance will be born, feeling
loneliness and belonging awareness will fade away.
If you are unable to have an affiliation, you can not even
have the necessary communication on the job. I can not
do my job well, but even if there is something in trouble,
it will make air that is hard to find out. The person
himself will feel at ease and become atrophied and will
feel that there is no whereabouts in the workplace.

21. Solution By expressing a warm feeling, we create a workplace so
that the person can feel the place where he / she is
naturally. I will make an atmosphere that makes it easier for
him to enter the circle of his workplace. For example, it is
important to prepare an atmosphere to welcome you by
preparing desks and lockers for yourself on the first day of
assignment. If you receive a question about the job you‘ve
leave aside, do not postpone it, it is important to have a posture
to listen first. Continue casual voice calls and keep distances
where you can talk with nature without stress. For example, you
may want to talk about hobbies, hometowns, favorite sports and
other topics where common points are easy to find.
Consequence A little anxiety of his / herself is alleviated, and the environment
becomes airy and feels easy to talk at the workplace. Even
when you want to consult work, the mental barrier will be low,
you will be able to work forward with ease of feeling. By
