2. What is my
Passion Project
all about?
My passion
Project was all
about beauty
products seeing
which ingredients
benefit your skin
the most and
which don't. At
the end my aim
was to come up
with my own
homemade natural
products to
present.
I don't know when beauty
products became my passion
but I don't know how this idea
banged into my brain, but it
gave me a really good feeling, I
felt that this was my thing. Me
and Olivia decided to work
together since we both liked
this idea and along my friend
Grace joined as well. We
shared idea's to each other but
worked alone on our way.

3. Passion Project Process
1st Step for this project was planning, I
had to plan what My aim was, how I was
going to do this and what kind of
research I was going to do. Since my
passion was beauty products I couldn't
research about all the products, so I
chose specific ones. The ones I chose
were lip balm, hand scrub and body/
sugar scrub. I was going to do lip scrub
but it kinda failed so I didn't bother to try
again. After I knew what my plan was I
followed it. On the way , there were
advantages and disadvantages, but you
know, it happens. What ever I
researched I wrote that in my book,
every week was my aim to get at least
one ingredient published in my research
book. When I finally came to the end I
made my products.

4. My Passion Project Blog
To keep up with the world, after
every passion project period, I
wrote blogs so I know what I
have achieved and what not. In
my blog I use to write what I
learnt today, what I didn't
achieve, what I failed, what my
next step was, what I found
interesting and heaps more. To
make it enjoyable for the the
viewer to see I sometimes use to
make collages, I- movies and
made it all fancy looking.

5. Research book
I had a research book were I
transferred my information in ,I
got this idea from Olivia, instead
of writing pages and putting
them in a file I thought this as a
way better idea. I put my fat
notes, diagrams, pictures, lists
and recipes in this book. I made
a tittle page relating to natural
beauty, though my book wasn't
all full I still had a lot of info,
three of us did this, we all had
different ingredients to research
about.
Now, all of us have all the info about our passion and if
anyone else wants to learn about it, we can just see our
books and teach them. Along with enjoying our passion,
we also had practise paraphrasing, skinny notes to fat
notes, handwriting, typing, researching and drawing.

8. My aim for this project was to come up
with my own homemade products, which
I successfully achieved. The main
reason was to use the ingredients I
researched about, the ones I have the
most knowledge about and use those for
the products, which I did. I had a fresh
aloe plant in my garden which I used for
my body scrub.
I had always wondered how people make
those creams and lip balms, but know I
have increased my knowledge on those
types of topics.
I think this knowledge will help me move
through my life healthfully. Some adults
don't even know what makes your skin all
healthy and beautiful, but now, I know.

9. What I learnt
In this project I learnt heaps of knowledgeable information that
will help me succeed in life. The main thing I learnt was about the
ingredients that are put into beauty products. I learnt the
differences between healthy ingredients and unhealthy
ingredients. For example I learnt that there is a lot of difference
between a fresh aloe plant in the garden and a aloe Vera as a gel
brought from the markets. The most enjoyable thing I learnt was
making the actual products.
