improve their relationships and make new
friends.

employees and job-seekers find

4. Students who used social networking sites while
studying scored 20% lower on tests and students
who used social media had an average GPA of
3.06 versus non-users who had an average GPA of
3.82.

 Vanessa- How did you react to bullying online?
 Maibe- I didn’t reply or pay attention to what they had to say
about me.
 Vanessa- How did you feel about this?
 Maibe- I just feel like bullying online is an immature way of
facing ones problems and thoughts of one another. I think
individuals should take a stand for themselves and not reply to
cyber bullying online but to tell someone superior to them.
 Vanessa- How has cyber bullying impacted you personally?
 Maibe- Cyber bullying has made me a stronger person. I will
NOT allow anyone to bully my friends. I am not afraid to stick
up for anyone now.

 Slumber party with friends
 She fell asleep in bedroom, woke up to 3 of her
“friends” sexually assaulting her and taking multiple
pictures.
 The pictures were posted on social networking
sites. (Facebook)
 She then hung her self at home.

 How many of you use facebook to stalk your crush or ex?
 How many have witnessed bullying on instagram, facebook etc. and what
was the situation? Did you stand up for that person?

tweet or even a status?
