To
Whom
It
May
Concern:
I
write
this
letter
to
you
to
relate
my
experience
working
with
and
managing
Scott
Zabinsky.
During
Scott’s
time
at
ITT/ESI,
he
architected,
executed,
tested
and
managed
websites
and
applications
that
served
well
over
54
million
visitors
a
year,
and
served
as
the
support
for
over
$300
million
in
annual
advertising
spend.
These
sites
and
apps
ran
the
gamut
from
lead
generation
microsites
that
directly
fed
our
Microsoft
Dynamics
CRM
through
an
API
that
he
wrote,
tested
and
deployed,
to
multimedia
presentations
that
each
prospective
student
walked
through
with
an
admissions
rep.
He
consistently
delivered
projects
on
time
or
earlier
then
estimated.
The
uptime
on
the
suite
of
sites
and
apps
was
at
99.99%
over
a
period
of
five
years
for
non-‐hardware
related
issues,
which
he
was
not
responsible
for.
In
addition
to
creating
solutions
from
scratch,
Scott
would
also
routinely
benchmark
and
tune
existing
apps
for
better
overall
performance.
Be
it
code,
queries
or
flow,
user
based
performance
was
always
at
the
top
of
mind.
Besides
the
technical
acumen
he
demonstrated
daily,
Scott
was
also
able
to
see
the
bigger
picture
of
where
the
solutions
he
provided
fit
into
the
larger
picture
of
the
user’s
experience.
Once
given
a
general
idea
of
the
solution’s
functionality,
he
quickly
saw
what
else
was
needed
to
support
it,
and
other
enhancements
he
could
build
into
the
original
idea.
Scott
did
all
of
this,
and
much
more,
in
a
fast
paced
environment
that
saw
unprecedented
change
during
his
tenure.
Through
it
all,
Scott
was
professional
and
constantly
pushed
for
the
best
user
experience
possible
with
the
solutions
he
provided.
He
would
be
an
excellent
addition
to
any
team,
and
I’m
proud
to
say
he
grew
into
one
of
the
best
hires
I’ve
made
in
my
career.
Sincerely,
Mark
