(women’s rights, technological advance, work & family life, young people’s habits, etc.)<br />Write the biography of someone who fought hard and generously for people’s rights or well-being. ( model student’s book )<br />UNIT 4 (models in student’s book)<br />Write about a scene or event/anecdote (something you witnessed or experienced) <br />Film or book review. (genre, plot, actors/characters, opinion)<br />Write about your town and give your opinion on whether or not it is a good place to live in and give reasons. <br />UNIT 5<br />Write about something funny, strange or frightening that happened to you or someone you know.<br />Write about a recent natural disaster or a survival story (vocabulary and model in student’s book)<br />What will life/work/study be like in the future?<br />How do you think your life will change ten years from now?<br />UNIT 6<br />Opinion: Do women have the same opportunities as men concerning work, sport, personal and professional development? (model student’s book + search info)<br />For and against essay/opinion essay: Bullfighting (only take sides when writing the conclusion) (model student’s book +search info)<br />For and against essay: Mothers working full-time outside the home, advantages and disadvantages. (model in workbook)<br />UNIT 7<br />Hypothetical: How would your life change if you lived on your own?<br />What would you do if you won a huge amount of money? <br />What would you take to a desert island and why?<br />A formal letter of complaint (model workbook+ student’s book)<br />UNIT 8<br />Describe a product you know. Use the passive voice.<br />Write a review of book or film.<br />OTHER RECOMMENDED SUBJECTS:<br />1. Your school and your town.
